I just used a really high quality acid free paper and mounted them to that with archival two sided tape which you can get at any craft store.

I know Riff has a pair. I have seen them in person. The lugged sole is pretty beefy and the leather is pretty tough. They would make a really good winter boot for the city if your winters are anything like we get here in Canada.

Has anyone else had issues with Primus internet? I ordered mine for new place, the modem arrived Monday and now they are saying there is not signal reaching the modem.
Oh and for apartments you can usually find a good deal in the bloor and ossington/dufferin corridor. I got a massive basement 1 bedroom with respectable ceiling heights for $900.

It all depends on the shipping company. Odontoceti think it is too bad from regular mail but ups will tear you a new one.

Just received our first little shipment of Hill-Side ties. We did a pretty small order to see how they would do and we have scarves heading our way in a week or so.

Love this stuff. I have pretty thin hair so I can't wear anything too heavy. My barber used it once and I was hooked. Plus since it is water soluble it won't fuck up the inside of my motorcycle helmet... note probably not a good product for the vegans among us.

The Hill-Side should be dropping with their first shipment towards the end of the week at Motoretta. Looks like this first this first shipment is ties and then scarves and whatnot to follow towards the end of the month.

I also was not part of the contest but have been wearing this regularly for the last two years. I'll get some new photos up in the next couple days... by far my favorite pair of all time.

I am moving into a new pad on Monday and have been on a binge of buying shit for the place. Below are some of the most glaring examples of what I got.
Toshiba 40" 1080p LCD
Ikea couch
ikea tv stand
drawer
A crap load of other small things from ikea as well as some nice leather and chrome chairs from a friends that moved to a smalled place that didn't have room for them... I swear I think the leather is chromexecal too...
Oh yeah and I got a vintage westinghouse fan like this one and some industrial metal mini carts for a coffee table and side table.

This f'n SUCKS. Thank god I work indoors and my car's AC works or I'd be bustin' out the Nudies.
Superbeveridge... you have forgotten the face of your father.
edit: I just realized that 50 degrees celsius is 122 degrees fahrenheit. Which leads me to ask, "IT WAS 122 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT IN EFFING TORONTO?!!!! The end is nigh.

hey fellas i'm hitting up toronto from july 24th - august 10th for the first time and am keen to get more ink whilst over there...
does anyone know of any good places/websites i can hit up? looking for more traditional/americana stylez.
most of the good places are booked months in advance. if you want a walk in go to TCB Tattoo. Not much to look at but the guys there are amazing. if you want to book well in advance you can do tcb, archive or pearl harbour. pearl harbour does do walk ins on the weekend but good luck getting a spot. all my work if from Dave Glantz at Archive Tattoo. A good friend and customer of mine.
Oh and if you are going traditional... just about anyone can do traditional so I wouldn't worry to much about where you go.

yeah toronto gets pretty humid during the summer... makes it hard to wear the heavy weight stuff sometimes even if they really breath.

not the most trendy place but it would definitely involve renting out the big room in the Barbarian's wine cellar for extremely expensive and rare wine with a group of my 20 closest friends... and the steaks are pretty damn perfect too.

I have the 403's, the Roy boot in chrmxl, #8 PTB and my 403's are by far my favorite for day to day use. They are fine for typical city winter and great for any other time. Highly recommend them. Just make sure you guy them in person and see them. Alden has had some quality control issues with their Indy boots because of the greater demand lately. Give them a thorough inspection and you should be good. I know Giles over at Iron Heart has some horror stories about his Alden's but I have never had an issue.
