Not to blow the spot but where are you all buying your vintage XX's these days? All the good stuff goes to Japan, I'm too lazy to thrift (and I always spot japanese guys beating me to good stuff), and prices are way too high for me to get back into it. Feel free to DM me if you prefer to chat in private
For me i only can get from ebay which is the items that might overlook by japanese collector ha ha ,but is it fun to watch the biding price fly high at the last few mins ha ha

Good call thanks! I asked for thread as well. That's part of the issue. I can't think of a way to make this happen easily.
I was wondering if it would be possible to undo some the the stitching on the pocket and then just match the stitching holes by hand with the same thread if he sends it to me. That's what the guy who shortened the sleeves on my leather jackets did. He had to go in through the front of each jacket and he match the stitching so well by hand I could barely tell the difference.
If you not gonna sent it back i suggest you keep it as it is, as the stitching is part of the money you purchase csf product
This is the 22501xx that i ask the local shop to resize, you can tell the difference

Thanks for the heads up mate but l'm going to pass on them. Tbh although they look awesome, l just don't need another pair of non-belt looped jeans. I did see the 1915 brown version with belt loops (a Warehouse special) on the WH lg site, now if they'd done that with the blue denim model 1915, l would have jumped on them!
Looks like there is a belt looped ver.

Interesting looking at your two (similar) pairs of bucklebacks, the 37's and 42's. Apart from the buckles, the blank tab and denim weight, what differences are there between them?
Apologies for the interrogation @silencejoe - it's just l don't get out much atm and these models/details) somehow fascinate me.
Think it's because of the back story of how they came to light after those 'secret vintage meet ups' with Konaka san and certain anonymous collectors, showcasing the subtle changes over the years leading up to the war model. Your 37's and 42's have the same yoke construction, unlike my 41's, so in a way they are bookends in a time when they (levis) were experimenting (?) with construction of their 501's. I'm not 100% sure what the actual reasons are for that change in construction (the yoke going the other way up sometime between 1939 and 1941 l'm guessing?) but most if not all of Levis competitors had the Flipped yoke (sunny side up ) from 1925 onwards so maybe we will never know?
I guess i just leave the photo for you to find out as you have a eagle eye
Have fun Dr

Thanks @silencejoe
Hey if you ever want to rid yourself of those 37"s or 42's, let me know
Why is the red tab blank on the 37's (?) BTW?
This 37 is the small batch csf made for a Hong Kong shop, the owner of the shop request to use the blank red tab.

More close ups of the differences between the models you have please @silencejoe (inside close ups also) - so what models do you own and which models do you wear?
I got the 1946 second half, 1937, D42, and the 1922 from dudewuttheheck
I think you seem enough for the 46, the 37 and D42 almost the same , so i will compare d42 and 1922
Now im still waring the 22501xx , so all of those are keep in the box after took picture
