those 660s are looking pretty far along for 6 months. they seem to need a lot of love, but yours are looking pretty good! probably better than my over 1 year 3 months pair....

i'm drawing my indys for my drawing class. wonder if they should go here? depends on how they turn out
and aj, those are lookin pretty sweet. similar to some Black Bird collabs. is that pebbled calf or kidskin or what?
edit, pebbled calf. first guess was right!
shitty iphone pic of my drawing assignment.

i could be wrong, but i think that rubber sole adds something to it.

my 660s (summer/ winter biking/ all biking jawns) went with me on a nice ride in the beautiful, 65 degree weather today around the Schuylkill river in philadelphia. a nice 25 or 30 mile ride. it was great to get out for a good ride.
Schuylkill at East Falls, up the river from the Philadelphia Museum of Art and my bike (i know, it's pretty hip) with the falls bridge in the background.
Then I stopped at Girard Avenue for some (brief) bouldering and some r&r. A pretty great view of the Girard ave bridge and a little bit of the zoo from up there.
Trash up there

i want to see someone wash these to acid wash color. that would make an awesome summer pant.

i like cuffs, i think stacks are sort of dumb... but do one or the other. half assing it always looks pretty bad.

can and join, that's my 2 cents. those are looking pretty fine. already have a pair of cxl white's on the way, so this project is out of the question for me
. join up! the more the merrier--and the most to see what HH can really do!

you know that chromexcel is NOT horsehide, right?

it's just water. it's character. don't worry about it. sort of like how people in nevada didn't worry about their knee contrast being fucked up by all of the dirt that they were kneeling in.

also their price for a standard SD is 100 more than at baker's....

my foot tracings were completely wrong. i'm not sure if i fucked them up or what... but they weren't correct. every boot i've ever purchased has been a 9.5D, and white's said i needed a 10.5D -- i knew that shit was wrong so i ignored it.
I think i'm pretty confident with it, and they seem to know what they're doing/ i trust them or no one else would order from them, me thinks.
"If we need to make an adjustment, we will." from kyle at baker's shoes.
thanks, guys. i'm still waiting (about 6 more weeks i think
), but i think i'm going to love em. black cxl, black eyelets/hooks, brown edge, curved heel, standard heigh, 2 rows of stitching, and a vibram half sole. thinking that they'll be great!

back to something that i posted a few days ago, kyle at baker's got my foot tracings and measurements, and he said that i wear a 9.0D in Semi Dress. I don't really understand how i wear a 10 in sneakers, a 9.5D in truebalance, and a 9.0 in SD, but what the fuck? i guess i'm weird haha.

i feel badly about having a pair of tenders and a pair of strike golds. the tenders wont fit me for years, but i feel like the only jeans that i will buy from now on will be warehouse. i'm not sure if i could actually do it, but wishful thinking is a great thing.

this is going to sound weird, but i've been wearing my strike golds a lot recently, and only using my 660s for biking. i just looked at my 660s today (i mean studied them), and they're fantastic. strike gold feels soulless, while the warehouse is genuine. i love these fucking pants. it might just be that the 660 looks better than the full cut strike gold on me, but dammit, they're amazing. if anyone is on the fence about warehouse, jump on over. no regrets from over here.

less than $5 and made in the usa. i would rather have something domestic with plastic than imported with metal (i think).

that's cool that they didn't put on belt loops. (i know that it's time period correct, but it's also pretty ballsy.) good move, sam.

i love full cut pants, but i think since i'm so thin that they only look good with a chunky boot (like my bean weatherproof and engineers), but i'm looking forward to them simply because of how much love is in them. they seem genuine. i'm looking for craft and passion. these 12 pages show that mr. kroll has both and i couldn't bring myself to ever get rid of someone's child like that.
