Guess i don't wear them too hard, but hard enough.

i like the look of the MCs toebox and more eyelets, but the leather and stitching kind of look shittier. if they're from the same brand, go for the USMC.

my friend's brother owns a pair that is pretty well worn, i'll try to get pics some time next month (if that helps)

i'm very happy with the transformation the natural chromexcel leather has taken in one season of hard wearing. i walk for miles in these all over NYC.

There are slight variations to the starting color of natural chromexcel from what i have seen from various releases. This pair started out almost band-aid'ish color, and now is maturing into a nice walnut.

I have only brushed these with a horsehide brush and treated twice with Saphir Renovator.

im very interested to see how this leather transformers over the real long haul.

there was definitely a pair of longwings or short wings in natural a few pages back. a nice, mildly darker, but rich hue if that means anything.

Also, are Cat's Paws honestly shitty heels/soles? Never had any so I can't say anything. I realize people want them for the name (like anything else here), but I assumed they got that name for a reason...

mine have lasted longer than the stock heels for the indy boot. could just be the amount/severity of wear, but i'm sure that i wore them with the paws more.

The White's Westen boots will have pointed toe and a western stitch pattern on the upper and scallop. The Engineer will be a round toe with instep and top straps with buckels. They will be built on different lasts as well.

so wesco is the best bet for a western/ non round toed boot it an instep?
