Saw an asian kid at the University of London union today, working out in Dior low-tops, grey Raf sweat-shorts, and a white polo... first time I've seen someone "on the street" that I've thought is probably on SuFu.

Hope you guys enjoy my small contribution... bear in mind I'm a beginner, so I'm a bit intimidated posting here, given the talent on display in this thread.

Nom de Guerre jeans -- size 34. These are from the A/W 08 line, they are an overdyed black dry denim, though it has a slightly waxed look to it.

Nice and stiff, this is the classic cut (with button fly), as opposed to the slim cut (with zipper fly). Zinc hardware, including on back pockets.

These have never been worn, only tried on for a minute (and didn't even button them up). Flawless jeans, and great quality. Made in Japan.

OR I will be open to trades for any NdG jeans in size 36 (roughly same condition), as these are too tight on my thighs.

^^I tend to agree that this season's collection is nothing exceptional, while I really liked past seasons by NdG. I'm not even too keen on the indigo utility shirt, when that's usually my style.

Also, compliments to Ry'on on the interview from a few months back, I just read it now in the archives. Glad to have found h(y)r mag, I'll try and read regularly.

That said, I just picked up the dry black jeans for £73 shipped, from Ideology Boutique online, out of Sheffield. I missed the Context sale a few weeks back while in the U.S., and couldn't refuse at this price. For those in the UK, they have a few pieces from last season left on sale, including the shawl cardigan for 140. Also a few CP and n.d.c shoes in most sizes.

Here's a great NY Times article from summer '07. It's probably been posted here before as well, but can't hurt to go in this thread. Self Edge gets a mention as "the best denim store in America."

Hhowlit, have you tried Selfridges or Liberty? Those would be the most likely, in my opinion, but I'd call first. Urban does carry A.P.C. but only the NS I think.

Also, those posted by Erbs (Loveless) and Cernunnos (Panzerfaust) are pretty hot too.

The Loft, I think you're talking about... I was in there not too long ago.

It's not bad, may be worth a look for anybody interested (I know that's an old post). Some of the stuff is a bit too flashy/Italian for my liking (lots of Gucci, Versace, etc. when I stopped in). Everything is in very good shape though... near new.

Is there a good place online that sell's nice fabrics for shirts?

Mood has a decent selection available online... still a fraction of what they have in the store. However, I think if you're looking for something specific, they'll help you find it via e-mail.

I purchased these from Active Endeavors around March and they've just been sitting in my closet ever since. They were always too tight on me, so I never wore them. (These are Joey Hung, NOT Dee Dee, as first posted -- just noticed this when taking pics)
