well hell, I just bought a L.
They still have quite a few vests, from XS through L (something like 5 larges!)
Just FYI, if you look at the measurements on Self Edge, the length is from the shoulder. The lengths on the raw M, which should be about the same as a rinsed/soaked L, are 27" down the back, and 24" down the front.
My post hot soak L vest is 25.5" in lengthIs this down the back from the bottom of the collar? If so, I'm gonna have to soak mine less than you did.

That depends on how the guys at SE measured the length. If it is from the bottom of the collar down the back, then the front will likely be way short. I actually think the L would fit me well pre-soak, since I prefer chest measurements on my shirts to be 42".
So tempting, but shit I have a lot of MFSC and indigo denim.

Yeah, 6'2", but I am consistently a M in MF, so I'm thinking a L would be big in the body. Then again, if I wore it over a couple layers...

Love the vest, ThisSunday. I've been really tempted to pick one up since they were on sale at MF. I really think it would be too short on me, though.
As for the pea coat sizing, I am a solid 38" chest and I HAD to shrink the sz38 in order for it to fit me well.

I feel exactly the same way about the Naval line, technicolor. Is that fit pic in your FS thred post-soak? If so, then yeah it's huge on you. You should put a link to your FS thread in your sig.

no, out of state, unfortunately.

^yup. Each shirt is based on 20 different measurements that I took from an existing shirt.
woah, you are in SLC, seafinch? I am up in Logan.

Here are some close ups of the shirt:
Cigarette pocket
Open pocket (at first I wasn't crazy about the square bottom, but it's really grown on me)
Front placket

Nathan gets his selvage chambrays from a few wholesale suppliers. I'm still running a MTM group buy on the shirts. PM me if you are interested. There are a few selvage color options, loads of non-selvage colors, plus hickory stripe.
I have never had luck finding decent chambray or denim in any of the local fabric stores, even the independent ones.

^right back at you... Thanks, man.

Sorry about the pics. Never owned a camera in my entire life.
Do you have any idea how much +rep awaits you if you at least borrow one?

Forgot to post this last week. Here's a mediocre photo of my new MTM selvage black chambray workshirt.

dralfonzo- details on the jacket? It looks great.

Are the pockets and side tabs on the dungarees a different denim?

It seems as though the MF denim products sold in JP are quite often one wash.

The rise does look crazy. I usually wear jeans with back rises the same as the front rise on those!

Let's see...
Here is the deck sweater that I almost bought. Even on sale it's still pricey.
