  1. Thanks for the tip 35percent. I was actually wondering how I should go about maintaining the blade.

Yeah that and a flat file or two if it gets really dull. There's tons of videos on you tube, I like Ray Mears because he has a lot of axe vids.

  2. Inside waistband, tip up carry, with a lanyard attached. Fully concealed, but easily accessible.

I SMH whenever I see wannabe high school thugs on the bus with their knives clipped to their front pockets fully exposed.

On road trips I carry it right in front so if I'm pissing in a truck stop I don't get raped.

After being surrounded by like 5 backwoods creepers in a truck station with my sister and brother in law and them saying "y'all got nice teeth" in the most creepy way possibly, I'm glad I carry.

If you think the knife laws are silly in California, you should read the gun laws.

just purchased my first Greyhound bus ticket for a camping excursion with my best friend in Oklahoma. He proceeded to tell me about this story and now Im feeling pretty paranoid. I wouldnt feel so paranoid if I could legally carry on the bus for self defense. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to edc some chainmail.

Do what I do, illegally carry. Keep your knife IWB on either side of your hip, just in front of your pack pocket, the clip is hidden by your belt/shirt and you can get to it easily too.

  4. I think your perspective is sort of out of whack, because on a given day I will see maybe one person with a knife on them, and that usually if in a hardware store or something. The majority of dudes aren't carrying blades and lights.

EDC makes up a very small portion of Americans.

  6. I was making napalm and blowing up action figures with IEDs when I was 12 and I turned out fine. Carried a SAK since I was 10 with a mini LED light on it, a 3" serrated spyderco and a surefire light when I was 15. I didn't whip it our in school (private school so i carried) and was mature, and my teachers knew i had it and would ask my to borrow it, it wasn't a problem.

I shoot AR15s and AKs with teenagers, and would trust them with a firearm over some adults. Let the kid stab some water bottles with a bayonet and have some fun.

  8. I'll try craigslist, forums, and friends first. B&H offered me $120 for the body, lol.

The sigma is pretty nice, i think the image quality is similar but its just built a little better.

  9. D60 body and Nikon strap

    Sigma DC 18-50mm f/3.5-5.6 ($50)

    Nikon Nikkor 50 mm f/1.8 D AF (120)

    Nikon DX 55-200mm f/4-5.6 ($100-180)

prices on the lenses are quick grabs from ebay.

Carrying case, charger, lens covers, remote, tripod base, other random stuff.

I'm thinking about selling it with the sigma lens and part the other two nikon lenses. Should I just sell on ebay or go through a forum or B&H?
