my sleeves look weird.

first xmas since my grandma passed away and the sweater used to be hers. Also need to get the hem in my cuff of my pants taken out a bit as they are a bit short.

Edit: to clarify the sweater wasn't her's or at least she never wore it. We found it in the attic among all of her other stuff, and I put it on to lighten the mood a bit, this was in April. Sort of starting a new family tradition of wearing a totally horrible sweater.

i think farmer got those as an off-coloured pair, so it will be really hard to find a pair similar to those. i even think i read that he gets a phonecall from his local red wing store every time such a pair comes in.

Ah, ok thanks. I guess I'll just have my store send out an email to all the other RW stores to see if anyone has them. My rep said they weren't a standard color.

Does anyone know the EXACT color description and or the stock number from red wing for the lighter tan 875s? I've been looking all over and can only find them in the darker brown. I asked my local RW store and she said it's a hard color to find and might not be able to order them. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Already PM'd Farmer but he didn't have any info.

I'll try to get some shots of the shoe goo fix tomorrow, I could have done a better job, but rushed it a bit. It was also hard doing both sides at the sale time.

Just talked to my dad, and I guess I've had those boots for closer to 5 years, heh.

Not really much of a fashion boot as these are my true work boots, but I was happy with reconditioning them a bit. They're Red Wing steel toes, have had them for about 3 years and were worn hard with a lot of abuse. Decided it was time to give them a little attention and wanted to use some of my products before I used anything on my iron rangers

I just cleaned them with a hose, then a brush with a drop or two of dish soap. Let them dry for a day and fixed a split in the sole with Shoe Goo, used red wing natur-seal waterproof/conditioner, let them dry, then oiled them with red wing mink oil. Turn out pretty well for a pair of well used boots.
