  1. I think the best thing you can do for At Last Co. is to try it on in store and take the sales associate sizing advice since all their items are based on a different pattern. I did that and left with a 42 jacket and 34 pant in the lot 147, which is much different to my usual 40 jacket and 36 pant TTS. So that would be almost a size down in the 147, it's their widest cut. Those who have the 147 jacket @Facini does the fabric go through a stage of being very hairy? I was surprised at how much hair the denim had once it came out of the first wash.
  2. Ah, cool. I actually have an old liner too. Sizing seems a bit funny. I went to RMC and they sized me a small on the parka, which I didn't love the fit. I went to a store in Osaka that didn't have any of the Buzz ones in stock but the shop owner thought I was a Large which is my usual Buzz size. He was saying the sizes for the Buzz jacket is arm length and not size, as they are all one size and the arm length is the difference.
  3. Anyone know a thing or two about the M-65 parka (parka and not the field jacket).. I checked out the Buzz Rickson and The Real McCoy version in Japan. Does the Buzz Rickson one accept the M-65 field jacket liner?
  4. Can anyone help and remind me if the Hinoya shop in Ueno Park Tokyo does tax free with a passport? Or if anyone knows a place that has a healthy amount of stock of Buzz Rickson near Ueno, Kamakura, Osaka as I'm planning on stocking up again on a lot of Buzz basics. Thanks!! Also if anyone knows a denim repairer in that area, that would be great. I got some simple pocket stitching that needs to be repaired on a TCB.
  5. If I'm finding my size 36 50s a bit snug in the waist would a 38 late 40s do me well? Or should I stick with 36? Thanks!
  6. What are the good 17oz wide fit jean options now adays (50s / 40s cut), looking for a winter weight denim. I'll be in Japan in a few weeks and was hoping to pick up then. Love my TCBs but they are a bit too light for winter.
  7. I'm curious about the small waist on TCB jeans, like the 50s jeans. Is this a vintage detail or something adopted to fit the body type of the Japanese market?
  8. How should I size the 505? I'm a true 34 waist and I've sized up 36 on their 50s cut. The waist of the 50s cut fits, but I'd probably like another inch so I can sag them a bit more. I'm correct to assume the 505 will have a larger thigh than the 50s, just referencing how the Levis are. Thanks!
  9. Really sad to read about the passing of Ande. I remember looking at his jeans and the fits here such a long time ago. Never bought a pair because of the price, but the pocket details were always so beautiful looking. Funny enough I moved from US to NZ a few years ago, I swing by thrift stores from time to time and there's a fun shop here that pulls items from the trash and resells. Recently found a pair of beautiful black faded Ande jeans which I've given to a friend.
  10. I picked up a pair of these 1947 Black Hard Wash in Japan and my usual 1947 size, but they are bigger in the fit which as been a pleasent surprise because they are so comfortable and all I want to wear right now. Really makes me think I should give some of these more anti fit pants a try.
