Most jeans measure 1" more than tagged size when raw. This inch will go with the first soak but will stretch back out.

Going by the measurements of the shirts it should be the latter, by going by fit pics it should be the former, otherwise it seems too loose. 

It is hard to give a definitive answer here as depending on fabric shirts can vary in sizing.

I'm normally a 42 in FH shirts but occasionally a 44. Likewise, I am sometimes a size 3 in UES but more often a size 4.

If you feel like treating yourself to something unique as a reward for surviving Christmas and New Year or even 2016 itself then look no further than the first drop of 2017:  The Copeland Shirt in Dust Beige Rough Out from Indigofera.

Individually numbered, from a very limited run of 38, this is a heavyweight piece that will stand the test of time. Thick, unlined cowhide, cut in the ‘Copeland’ style (straight cut but less boxy than the Fargo) in an evocative desert beige. It's hard to do anything but admire.

Heavy duty press studs and riveted side seams are the only hardware this shirt needs and a subtle stitch pattern detail on each breast pocket tops off the whole idea perfectly.

Will it fade to a more turquoise colour then like I have seen with some pants?

I understand, that there are a lot of factors to the indigo dyeing.

Perhaps the turquoise colour comes more out with hank dyed fabric?

You definitely can see lighter hues of indigo from hank -dyed denim.

Does it mean, that the jacket is dyed only in natural indigo, or that the dye is a mix of synthetic and natural indigo?

This denim is rope-dyed with natural indigo rather than the more commonly used synthetic variation

The 17 oz selvedge denim by Iron Heart which uses organic cotton and natural indigo is now available in a Type 3 trucker jacket.

The sleeves and body are slightly longer than your average Type 3. The jacket has hand-warming pockets which can be used internally for storing wallets and phones etc. The jacket also features tonal constructional stitching for a more minimalist look. The denim is unsanforized but one-washed. It will shrink a further 0.5" on the chest and in both body and sleeve length.

Just in time for Christmas, Pure Blue Japan has delivered two versions of the classic type 2 denim jacket and some new jeans.

The KS-103-WID is a 16 oz deep indigo jean. The KS is knubbed selvedge which refers to the slubby texture of the irregular weave. The depth of indigo is achieved by rope dyeing the yarns in a process known as ‘kasuri’ or ‘grazing’ using various shades of indigo, hence the ‘ID’ in the description, which stands for Irregular Dye. These are available in the slim tapered 013 cut and will offer a high contrasting, unique fade potential.

The new PBJ 18 oz. denim jacket uses the same super slubby denim as the jeans in the same weight. 
One difference is that this fabric has been sanforized to enable an easier fitting right off the bat. Aren't the 3012 true to tagged waist size pre wash? I was trying to buy a pair awhile back and that's what I was finding anyway.

Yes they are one inch bigger on the waist than tagged (with top and bottom waistbands aligned and measured at full width & doubled)

We only ever buy what we love ourselves for the store which is why our inventory is so focussed. We would never choose anything just to fill a gap. The Native Blanket Boa Jacket is so strong in many ways; style, fabric and of course "The Flat Head Way" construction details. The blanket outer shell is custom woven with a native pattern. The jacket has a thinsulate filling for warmth without the need for a bulky alternative and then lined with rayon (traditionally used on Hawaiian shirts from the 1950s) The faux sheepskin shearling boa collar is exquisitely soft. 3sixteen shows once again that they have truly mastered the art of smart, casual, streetwear with the 2016 release of the Stadium Jacket.  The fabric of the indigo cotton twill STJ is subtly ridged horizontally which gives a 3D depth and texture to the indigo tone and makes this an extremely tactile item. Inside is more of the same with a luxurious quilted lining - this also carries through to the side handwarmer pockets. Based on their previous waxed cotton stadium jackets, the fit is immaculate.

We have  also restocked the black waxed canvas STJs. Like the new indigo version this has a 2 way-pull zipper.

The black Waxed Flesh service boot from Viberg is a unique build for Rivet & Hide on the 2030 last and keeping the toe cap plain. 
This roughout leather develops an incredible patina with scuffing over time. Alternatively, some wearers will re-wax the boots to restore them to pristine condition. The waxed leather makes the boots very water resistant and they also come with a Dainite rubber sole.

Stevenson Overall constantly pushes the boundaries in style and construction. UES Denim releases its indigo selvedge flannel in a sashiko wabash design in a nod to both Japanese textile heritage and vintage work wear design. The fabric has been rope-dyed indigo. This is a slim fit without being overly so. The flannel features acorn shaped pockets and corozo nut buttons.

i really want to buy a PBJ Jeans (like this one http://rivetandhide.com/shop/brands/pure-blue-japan/pure-blue-japan-ks-013-16-oz-slim-tapered-jeans.html?___store=eu_en), but im wondering which size i should pick up, because most of those jeans are unsanforized and need to be soaked. somewhere i read, that ive to pick up one size bigger than im normally wearin. normally im wearin a size 34. so do i need to pick up a 36? Would be awesome if somebody could help me!

The best idea is to measure a couple of pairs of jeans that fit you well on the waist (this is how we do it http://rivetandhide.com/measurement-guide#jeans-section ) and share what those measurements are. From there it should be easy to advise you on sizing. Most PBJ denim shrinks just 1" and stretches back out again so if a raw  size chart states 34" that's more or less where they will end up post soak and stretch.

First up from RGT we have the blanket lined canvas trench. Using a 10 oz. water repellent canvas and incorporating a wool lining with blanket stitch detailing, this ¾ trench sits mid-thigh giving a smart silhouette. The sleeves are satin lined and the jacket features a button vent to the rear and covered front placket. Four pockets – two inside, each containing a smaller concealed pocket – and two outside, welted, with storm flaps that can be tucked inside for a sleeker look. This is a smart, stylish, yet fully functional piece to deal with the wet and the wind.

Dehen is a family run business who’s in-house production dates back to the 1920s. It started out knitting varsity and college sweaters for student athletes. By the 1930s it was supplying local motorcycle clubs with custom knit riding sweaters. The 1950s saw the first production of its hand-made Varsity jacket. Every knit component of Dehen garments are made in-house on vintage knitting machine. The family stays true to its original pioneering values making garments that are robust, durable and of timeless style.

Our first offering from Dehen 1920 has to include the classic black on black leather and wool varsity jacket. The 24 oz.  melton wool body is from Pendleton whilst all the trims are woven in-house. The sleeves are made from premium cowhide and the jacket features a roll collar, snap front closures, quilted lining and internal patch pocket..

The Loden Club Jacket come sin a 10 oz olive waxed canvas and is new for 2016. The jacket comes with worsted wool roll collar, cuffs and waistband and again is quilted lining. The jacket has an internal patch pocket and brown button closures.

Earlier this year we introduced the remarkable 18 oz. selvedge denim from Pure Blue Japan in the slim tapered fit. It is now available in the slim straight  XX-18oz-005. This is a dialled up version of the signature 14 oz denim with turbo-charged slubbiness. It has tonnes of texture. You can literally see the indigo clinging to the yarns when you hold this fabric up to the sunlight.

PBJ has introduced a new "vintage denim". The VTG is lighter in colour, similar to raw denim from the 1970s.
The fabric is 14oz in weight, smooth rather than slubby. There is plenty of texture in this neppy weave with different shades of indigo already alive on the surface straight off the loom.

We are offering this denim in the XX-003-VTG. This is PBJ's regular/straight fit.
