  1. Usually most samples come in size M. Erlsn wears medium as well and I believe he is the main testing person.

The hood is paclite? I checked the J1A video again and the hood looks to be E- as well as the whole jacket. However there was a E-J1A on grailed in size L that had paclite hood, but came with the pocket and olive jacketsling (while yours looks like there is a black one) I also think someone removed the flak pocket, as @Dolphinski pointed, noone ever had samples.

  2. in here! so:

    1. DURAFLEX QUIK-SLIP KEEPER, comes in 20mm (which is what you will need for the jacketsling (if they haven't changed since last time I bought ACR jacket - SS12). imo it's a bit too big solution for the low-profile jacketsling but it's the easiest to operate. Other manufacturers (woojin, ITW) will have alternatives too.

    2. ITW WEB DOMINATOR. Only comes for 1'' but the construction is weird anyway.

    3. ITW ANNEX CLIP. Only for 1'' and I do not like how stiff it is. The aliexpress versions work better from my point of view (search keyword: "webbing clip")

    4. Good'ol SLOTTED LOOP is meant to be securing loose ends even when we use it to attach pouches to PALS rail. Comes in 20mm too.

    5. My prefered would be a DIY solution. Simple elastic band folded, sewn and turn inside out. While at it, I would replace the default (again based on SS12 jacketsling that still had the fidlocks inside) elastic strap with a stronger one.

  3. EPIC by Nextec® fabric. It's water resistant, windproof, breathable and washable. But how? Our patented Nextec® encapsulation process is what makes it possible. The protection is inside the fabric, encapsulating the actual fibers for weatherproof performance. No laminates. No coatings.

again as Erlsn statet many times the fabric letter is not a manufacturer or product acronym but it's about the technology used to create the fabric. In other words you can apply the EPIC treatment to both cotton and nylon.

  4. STITCHES: specials are not really necesarry, you just get along with straight stitch and just sometimes use tight zigzag to pretend it's a bar tack. I am currently using only straight stitch for sample making.

FEET: apart from basic (teflon) one, I used zipper foot a lot and not just for zippers, it's essential companion for rounded corners. For heavier tasks I used walking foot. Some use the edgebinding feet but I never got used to it and most of the time use prefolded bias tape for my samples. You can get a feet set of ebay or amazon and they will be the same as your machine branded ones.

  5. I like the way it fits around body but feels like it's 10cm shorter then I would like. I find the fit a bit dated compared to my prefered enlongated shirts. I bet someone here will find a good use for it, might regret selling it from secret grailed account at rape price later (and buying schoeller fabrics for aoku), but whatever.

  6. SOLD

Got my hands on the MEDIUM YJA TT-KA1-KA2-LA1 (https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/f335271224) but I kinda do not like how it fits so WTS to a positive reputation sufu member. Looking to get my 29000JPY (proxy and shipping added 2000JPY, but the shirt is now in EU) back = add PP fees and shipping.

Would not mind trading for ACR/11/Y-3/DRKSHDW/HAMCUS/SISP/THEVIRIDIANNE [black only]
