The torn up part doesnt bother me as much. Quoddy offers resoling, as does any cobbler in the city.

Getting them beat up would actually be ideal, however i dont want it to be at the cost of dry feet.

I just shoot to kill. Never have to run that way.

My main concern would be having a soaked foot. If i spent the money I'd want to wear them, so to be hindered on a rainy day would suck.

I have talked to Quoddy. They assured me that city dwelling is fine. The rain can be an issue they said, but not huge. Looking for a consumers perspective vs. manufacturer.

Also they dont have pics of the crepe sole on the moc. Weird as this changes the whole look of the shoe.

One mans smedium is another mans short hem nightmare.

Edit: Canvas shoes and oxfords, both short sleeve and long, were good this time around. Bright plaid camp cap was pretty. Striped madras and eye sore madras shirts were also good to go. Striped chinos were nice.

Fitteds were doo doo this season.

Hopefully with a hood. And if not it would be nice to see a wool duffle coat this season.

No hood. two colors. A plaid and black. Quilted lining like last fall.

Just looks like a similar cut. Think its flannel lined and comes in three colors.

Varsity is more patch heavy this year. There is an update on the cruiser jacket, as well as one similar to the chore jacket.

This season its cordura/ripstop on the bags. Blue, Red, Black.

Backpack, Messenger, Mountain Waist Bag. The backpack shape is similar to the ones from spring 07, where it opens at the top.

As far as I know they were always planned for A/W 09. Assuming they are still sticking with a 5 deck series, will be lots of fun trying to make it happen on day of release.

For the knife it's Buck. Not up on collabos, other than the ones previously mentioned (2nd hirst, APC, Hanes, Vans).

98% sure there is no Duffel this season so those considering the current one take heed.

I believe its the standard wood/brass handle with branding along the side.

they had the uline ones years back.

the crazy neon ones with the blade that goes out like 2-3 inches would be a little intense. Those things are just asking for trouble.
