Petero 18 showed up today. I just finished hot-washing them, and gave them a hot dry for 15min or so. They're just the slightest bit damp. Man the texture on these is pretty incredible and I imagine the vertical falling will be out of this world. Pics to come.

Does the human body display the same physiological signs of stress & anxiety when first worlders are stressing about first world things as humans in the rest of the world respond to daily concerns of food scarcity, resource scarcity, neighborhood violence, etc?
Im sure a philosophical discussion would fit in quite nicely in the appropriate thread within Superculture. :——^-)

Question for folks in the US..
Have you made a return/exchange with Denimio? if so, how long did it take to get your new pair? I'm just getting anxious, and the fact that the DHL courier is still not here over an hour after scheduled end of pick-up window adds to the anxiety lol

Not much, about an inch in both dimensions. I wash cold and line dry and they haven't noticeably changed since, but my jeans are all fitted in the seat and then ample everywhere else.
Thanks, surprisingly, these were very snug in the waist, and I am opting to exchange for size 35.
edit: I plan to (as with all my unsanforized pairs), wash hot and then hang dry. The main thing I'm concerned with is the length ending up too short. I have a feeling it'll end up perfect though.

They're back in the bag they showed up in, waiting for a shipping label! I'll post pics when I get my size 35 :)))

@Planetarium these just showed up. How much did your pair shrink? Length and Waist

@Planetarium good to know! The measurements make it seem more like a heavy taper than an overall tight fit, but we’ll see. I hope I sized correctly. Thankfully I can return them if not. I’m a 33 in Samurai’s S0511xx, and picked a 34 in this Evisu.

Anyone messed with the 18oz Petero18 fabric?
I just ordered a pair of the "tight silhouette". That fabric looks real dope though. I will post pics when they get here.

Back in highschool I bought a pair of Lot 10 Samurai S0500xx with that hairy 15oz Texas cotton. I loved them, but I fully duped myself in sizing. I was also, let's say, wider, then. But I persevered and wore them as much as I could. Still, I'm wishing I could wear this old pair. Years later, I tried a pair of Eternals. Beautiful denim, and so far have gotten more beautiful with infrequent wear, but the fit just doesn't do it for me, and they mostly stay hung in my closet unfortunately.
After shopping around and trying different fits, PBJ's newish tapered fit seemed like the way to go, but nostalgia had me pretty hard and I wanted another go at that Texas cotton. I ended up with a brand new pair of Samurai S0511xx tapered fit, IN THE CORRECT size. I gave them a hot wash, no detergent, and partial tumble dry, and am getting them hemmed at Self Edge soon.
Lot 10 S0500XX
Been a huge minute since I posted anything, and I'm stoked to be back in it.

I've been away from SuFu for ages. Been in Israel since early January, and bought a film camera (my old trusty got stolen, or lost, or something..)
Kodak Gold 200 (expired)
Portra 400 has wider latitude than I realized.. I shot a roll all over the place, mad under and over exposed and the whole thing came out pretty great.
Sorry the photo quality isn't great, I don't have my usual computer, so I'm doing any (minimal, because these are scans) post processing in Enlight for ios.

I’m in Jerusalem seeing my girlfriend who’s been living here. What is good to smoke here? Heard good and (really)bad about Nobluss.. I usually smoke American Spirit turquoise (Og full flavor) back home in Portland. Thanks for your help! RYO is fuckin finee with me too.

Would this fit like the indigo canvas work shirt they have for sale still? Or is it the same one? If i may ask, what is your waist measurement, and what sz shirt is that? I'm guessing a Medium? I'm stuck on whether to get a Med or Lg. Modest beer gut beckons.......
Rogue Territory gave me a "belly" measurement of
Med: 21"
Lg: 22.25"

Washing my 883s today, they are hanging up drying at the moment. Thought i'd post some pre-wash pics. They could've probably gone longer, but they were grimy.

Hello - I'm looking for a pair of jeans for my ladyfriend. I have done a bit of reading, but i'm still not sure. Her actual waist is around 30, hips around 36 and butt around 38. I'm worried something even with stretch will be too loose in the legs, while fitting the waist fine. I'll keep looking through this thread. But any suggestions for someone with not a ton of waist hip ratio would be great. She doesn't like anything with very low of a rise. I'm considering the Railcar Vixen X028 but even then, I'm not sure exactly what size to get her. Because it stretches, going a sz under might be reasonable.. but in your experience, is that actually too tight?edit: shit i might be wrong about those measurements.... something close tho.

883 - i rarely wear jeans in the summer time, so these nearly 1 year-old jawnz have not seen a whole lot. It's just started getting cooler.
Washed once by Eternal and once by me
The brownish staining on the right thigh is from constantly wiping ground coffee on my pants after leveling and tamping.

I haven't actually measured them; at least an inch. I may be exaggerating that...

Here's some progress on my 883. I noticed some crotch holes starting to form and I knew they would shrink more as they were only one-wash. I figured I'd give them a ride through the machine with no detergent on hot, delicate cycle to get the extra shrinkage out before I get them repaired. I'm at 5 months
Before
After - lighting was different
Edit: notice the coffee-grounds stained thighs lol

^ thanks for the input. I guess I'll have to buy some. I just never would've assumed it was anything but diner-quality. I'm sure many diners with mediocre coffee aren't brewing correctly though

what's the deal with people using dunkin donuts coffee? i feel like i've read around on other forums and people brew dunkin donuts. is this something i don't know about? haha

^the samurai's fit perfect, not too big in the slightest...
Haha except when i uncuff them they're like 4 inches too long because when i bought them (highschool) i was like, HELLUH STAX BRO but the hem was too big and dragged on the ground after they softened. also i've lost considerable weight since then, and there's quite a bit of room in the waist. lot 10 sz 36? maybe 35 i forget

I hot washed these at a laundromat, but it looks like they could absolutely shrink more. A little puzzling. I did also walk in them about 5 miles while they were still slightly damp, so I'm sure that contributes somewhat. Anyway, the laundromat has front loading machines, but my washer (currently out of service) is a top loading machine. I theorize that they weren't in contact with hot water for long enough to yield a ton of shrinkage. No problem!
The texture is incredible, and it’s interesting to feel the ridges that travel vertically along the fabric
I think I'm gonna throw some oil on that patch
This is my first pair of Evisu, and I'm looking forward to a nice adventure with them
