dude naruto has got NOTHING on one piece seriously. the current naruto arc is mean to be all epic and shit, cos i suspect it's the final arc but the previous one piece arc at the marine hq, which was meant to be a halfway mark of the series was even epicer. not saying the current naruto is bad, but if the author was a better storyteller the events could have been presented so much better.
the early art style and content of one piece takes a while to get used to because it seems a little kiddy but one piece has been the most consistent shonen manga i've ever read, and i've been following it from the start over 12 years ago. but yeah, you've got 12 years' worth of content to catch up to if you're gonna start now haha

werd, i couldn't even watch through the first episode, and i LOVE shit movies/series

yeah bleach has been pretty bad since ages ago, especially if you wait for a chapter a week. so little content in each chapter, especially compared to something like one piece.
the aizen 'climax' was bullshit and ichigo is the most boring character ever.
i've re-read blade of the immortal from the start again after not doing so for the last 5 years or so and have finally caught up. which site has the most up to date releases? i'm just finished with the shira arc now.

the best rice crying scenes are with a spoon, held the wrong way (spoon side where the little finger is) with shuddering sobs

yeah taecyeon crying scene while eating rice was pro
....(5)
every good drama needs a crying while eating rice scene. we've taken that to the next level

ahahaha the owner of that sydney blog used to be the 'creative director' for melbourne street fashion. she and the idiots she hung out with were part of the "big foreheaded australians" fiasco a while back, which was definitely one of the highest points of sufu imo.
those people are the reason i quit working in fashunz. bunch of ignorant circlejerks, even among the 'fashion elite'. fuck them.
that said, definitely a horrible eye behind the camera, as well as the editor i'm sure. australian street fashion is pretty bad, but not that bad that this crap can be considered decent.

china has that generation of ludicrously rich people who love living that life of excess, kinda like the US in the 90s. especially exciting for luxury brands like prada which is probably why miuccia said that, because it's back to that kinda growth all over again in a new market. and guess what, the china market doesn't give a shit about made in china and if these labels can produce there, they save on labour, transport, materials etc so it's a win for all of them.
does this also mean it's back to the blatant commercialisation of that era too? i think probably just those labels though, because on the other hand artisanal quality goods are bigger than ever on the other side of the world. not to say china doesn't have that kind of credibility in fashion eithe; watched this doco by jia zhang ke about the label wu yong/ma ke a while ago and always quoting it when it comes to the china perspective of fashion but they are legit anyway so whatevs (link to related article)

feels really lonely playing fallout new vegas in an empty apartment. great game but i'm really feeling the solitude the game was meant to convey anyway.

i'll never understand why so many people like to post shit like "first waywt, excuse bad pic, bad pose, bad clothes etc"
why bother? why was this fit so compelling you just had to put it up on a public forum even though there are so many issues you have with it?

stoya's skin is milk.
think she dated marilyn manson at some point which is pretty gross

snes rpgs definitely look less dated that psx ones. for a severe underdog try rudra no hihou. made by heyday squaresoft but never brought to the US, although a fan translation patch fixes that. fucking epic 3-way storyline (you play as 3 main characters separately but concurrently), brilliant engine that looks like an expanded version of ff6 and a brilliant soundtrack. i actually haven't finished it... looks like a replay is due.

mentioned previously that the good old-school jrpgs are still thriving on the ds. this one especially looks amazing. battle system is one of my favourite types (horizontal battlefield, 2d, great animation etc)

yeah i keep giving up on naruto for half a year at a time and then catching up just cos i'm always hoping it will be pre-shippuden good. once in a while i get fooled into thinking it might be, like the current arc but after thinking about it i always just realise it's crap and there's so much wasted potential if he was just a better storyteller
