She... is doing a very nice standard denim patch, with double stitching. Should she stitch the patch over the part that's wearing through?

My friend is re-enforcing them as I write this. They were definitely starting to wear through and become legit holes.

That is an awesome fit, Lucas. Really nice boots, too. Interesting color, kinda purplish gray. What are they?

Hey, really nice. What are you wearing now? I mean, not right now this second, that'd be creepy. You know what I mean. Anyway, they look good. +rep

I agree, the first one has some nice details, like the placket and short cuffs (I think) as well as the color, but you're right, the second will probably go better with dark jeans. Both nice, though. The fit looks great for J. Crew, which I always thought made only big billowy shirts.

I just got these Lees at goodwill for $6. It's weird, I have another pair of Lees from goodwill, also 36x34, and yet these fit pretty well compared to the first pair I got, which has some diaper ass.

Awesome goodwill find! They look good, too.
I just found a cheap pair of Lees at the goodwill today. Pretty nicely worn in. Will try to post pictures soon.

Isn't it called flame denim? I think that's what Bill refers to the streaky Strongholds as being.

Apparently it's also ok to display your jeans with a cat lying on them. Just joking! Same as I was when I said this:
Do you have a stub leg, with the fabric pinned up? If so, you should wear a peg. Much cooler. No hard feelings, guys? Sorry I started a fight.
Also, not sure why you neg repped me, kixslf, or even took offense in the first place.

Where'd you get them from? You should return them.

Update. Not much new. Just bored and trigger happy with my camera*.
*of crappy quality
Also, what should I do here? How do I re-enforce this?

Sorry, I know these suck. I have a crappy camera as well as crappy weather at the moment. There should be some slightly better pics in both the evo and pbj threads from several weeks ago, though.

Thanks, Cool to know.

Thanks for the warning. These are also XX-005s. I generally bike to classes, but have been trying not to lately. Hope yours turn out ok.

I got these the other day at goodwill for $5. They're Cole Haan, 'bench made in England'. I think of Cole Haan as being pretty low-end for the most part, but for five bucks I had to get them. They're certainly a step up from my other non-sneaker shoes... Dockers. haha. At least these have a leather outsole. What I dislike about them, though, is a line of stitching on the quarter next to the eyelets that I think looks cheap. Also, the leather is very soft. Not sure if that's bad or good.
Anyway, I just figured someone who has knowledge of shoes might be able to tell me if these are decent or just junk, which I'm totally fine with.

Does this look like it needs pre-emptive strengthening? What's a good way to keep this from worsening? Thank you.

Maybe he's got a conch fade on his ass?
A fade on his haunch? That's made by a conch? That's gotta hurt.

Darn! I thought the undersea dungaree idea sounded fun.

(different pair of Mister Freedom jeans worn in the picture Tmadd quoted btw)
haha, yeah I was comparing them trying to understand why they looked so different. So, you have 2 pairs of them, Cotton?

I think you should wash them if they smell bad. Jeans such as nudies are kind of a waste of time in my opinion, and I think most other people's here as well. While they can get contrasted fades, they don't hold dye very well, meaning you have to wait at least 6 months (or 10.5 in your case) to wash them. It seems like all that time preparing for the wash isn't enjoyable for the wearer but rather made merely tolerable in order for some huge payoff in the end, which is invariably less splendorous than the end result, as well as the whole process, of better quality denims.

The only problem I've had with the leaf logo is a few people thinking I sat on gum. It's gradually falling off, though.
