  1. is an IR filter all you need to do stuff like this? cos ilford makes an "IR" film.. i think its the sfx something. is it a different sort of film? or does it just emphasize the reds in whatever scene youre taking a photo of? i was looking to experiment a bit with it

I'm really not sure sorry man as this was done through digital but I can assume so

  3. I haven't really played with it much other then drunken nights but it looks like second curtain flash to me? It's in the custom functions on your camera and you set the camera to a slowish shutter speed and the flash fires at the end of the exposure instead of the start and viola.. hope that helps

  5. sounds obvious but have you tried disc recovery software?

most are pretty good for multimedia (not sure about raw files) If your hard disc actually melted or something then i'm sorry.

Thanks man. It doesn't seem to be coming up at all anymore but is still spinning which is weird. I tried it in a USB drive but nothing came up :( Thanks though man

Although some people probably find it wanky but I'll say it anyway. Just for future reference, I find finding a ledge or tripod to put your camera on for waterfalls really helps to go a slowish shutter speed, makes the shot just that much more nicer. If you were hoping to do this but couldn't because it was too light, try pick up some neutral density (ND) filters, they are great fun.

  7. Just out of curiosity, how do you sell your work, do you sell online, through a gallery?

    As usual excellent work.

    Thanks

I'm probablty not the best to ask but anyway I don't make much effort to sell prints, everyone's on my back about it that I should blahblah but I take photos for me and making money on them isn't why I do it and I don't really see them as worthy compared to other local togs killing it with amazing work. But I'm happy to sell work if people approach me asking to buy or license. I've been taking a bit of time to SEO my blog to bump up for popular local landmarks/places which seems to of attracted attention from vineyards and tourism operations wanting to pay better then your average print buyer. If anyone wants to talk SEO message away.

I hear approaching local cafes to put your work up works well exposure wise
