Is not dead! First shot on 5D II, way too many ND filters on creating a pretty nasty vignette.. Damn I've missed some nice photos lately

Black Cat
Ahh the infamous black cat, I wish we could get it here, it sounds amazing.
What kind of grinder are you using? I know what you mean with the temperature problems of the Silvia, driving me nuts especially when frothing milk. I find it's best to flush alot of steam out while the boiler is still warming up then leave it for a little and begin steaming while the light is still on. This seems to produce a good amount of steam otherwise if I wait until the light goes off it seems hopeless. I've kinda been tossing up whether to buy a PID but they're not cheap mmm.

About time we got a coffee thread
I'm using a silvia at home and haven't looked back. Initially it was a bit fiddly and all over the show until I learnt to properly tamp and heat milk but now it's great and I enjoy coffee at home then most cafes.
Any Australian users interested in coffee or sourcing some good brown or green beans should check out CoffeeSnobs

Nice to see this revived.
Not sure how basic your yoyo knowledge is but this site might help with getting some tricks down pat (http://yoyoexpert.com/learn/). If some of the advanced tricks take your fancy then on the cheaper end of the scale a duncan fhz should do the trick. What were you looking to spend?
I'm not really that knowledgeable compared to the others in this thread but I hope that helps a little

I saw these online and got someone to pick them up for me in store. Anyway I've worn them once and they were a tiny bit too small for me and I didn't really dig them so they've sat in a box ever since. I can take more pics if requested but these should do for now.
Size 45
I'm after $60aud which is around $40us.

Pretty much a post card photo but I really like how the sunrise briefly lit up the mountain. This is my quiet part of the world..

An old mental hospital nearby is due for demolition so I was pretty eager just to take a few more snaps before it's all gone. I'm sorry about the shitty processing and repetitiveness of standing in the middle of nearly every shot, this was because the rooms are huge and need some sense of scale but also because life is strange.

Very tempting but not sure about size/stretching.. I'm around a 31 so worried these might be a bit big with the stretching? Hmm.
