I hope you don't mind but I was just pasting it to people on msn and everyone concurs that it's a very cool photo. I'm probably leaning more towards the landscape shot? Would be very nice printed big I think? Something if it was at an exhibition I would stop for a while and look in awe and interest.

Does anyone have any advice on the best way to download maps? I came across this (http://nambrot.com/index.php/home/33-mapsoffline/47-how-to-create-new-caches-on-a-pc) but I found downloading them gave me a block on Google for a few hours apparently. Is there any other way? I was hoping to get some before I go away photo exploring over the next few days.

Wisie, I like the shots but feel that they would be better without the light painting. Any other opinions? I don't have any experience with it though, so take that for what it's worth.

Yeah it's a shame as this place is pitch dark with no lights inside so the only option is to light paint with a torch really. Cheers though

No HDR but nd grads though

Using the Cokin nd grad z series (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/387468-REG/Cokin_CU960_Z_Pro_W960_Pro_Graduated.html) over the 10-22 just to avoid the vignetting as I hear the P series doesn't like ultra wide angles much and you get some nasty vignette. Best purchase I've made. That being said though I hear the Lee system is probably better.

Thanks man. That was just a long exposure with red cd case over a torch to create the light trail. Damn the train tracks made my white shoes black though arg

Can you give any insight into how you made a ring light, the shoots look good?

No HDR but with grads you can kind of see where I messed up the angle and darkened the cliffs too much.
