In case you wondered which mill produces the denim for Sugarcane (at least their 47 denim and the new 43 and 46 denim).
It's Nihon Menpu

Denime

I would agree that these are my best faded pair.
My UES 400T, Samurai S510XX-66II and DenimBridge contest pair were all on a similar fading level. The UES looked great as well0 -

I would believe it has maybe more to do with the position of the coin pocket and where it sits on your body and also how big it is. So rather a Warehouse-construction reason than the used denim?!
With 60s jeans you really get that crazy lightning fade because of the different direction of the denim. Technically, this is also a construction reason1 -
Definitely not in there to win...especially with this pair of jeans

You can't deny the Warehouse-influence on these Denime, I agree with you.

@beautiful_FrEaK that after a soak?
@Double 0 Soul how are those 47s looking now? They got the terminator treatment right? Thrashed all to hell? HahaNo that is pre-soak/wash so it will surely improve

Ah that stuff. My uncle used to bring it with him and my parents also made their own marmalade with it.

In theorey it still exists but many people selling denim related stuff just use the thread in here.

Since this thread is the home of our British lads anyways I got a question for you: which is the best marmelade (orange obviously) brand?

But Denime (and other brands) is excluded from the sale

You forgot all the other small brands in between
Edit: also the Denime came before Samurai. But yeah, there is some kind of pattern...

It’s the end of the road as far as I’m concerned. It’s not necessarily obvious at first but it becomes so over time.
This is exactly what I want to experience. Right now they are "like every other pair" okay not really.
But so many of you guys whose opinion I hold in high regard swear by FW that I kinda had to cave in and try them out. Also since FW gets more expensive with each run and the Yen is sooo low right now it probably was the best timing.
So now I wanna know if they are really "the best" jeans money can buy 🤔 my favourite brand certainly doesn't make the best jeans but they appeal to me on a sentimental value level.

Yeah I remember (now) the green line Sugarcane millet denim to be from Nihon Menpu but didn't know for the more standard denim.
