  1. The details on the SEXSC06 are awesome. Buttons, patch, pocket bags, reinforced crotch for durability, and also wonderful slubby denim for beautiful fades.
I'm after 2 new pairs of jeans, need some help choosing/deciding!

Currently my list of possibilities are:

    • Samurai S5000VX (17oz)
    • Samurai S710BK (19oz)
    • Self Edge x Sugar Cane SExSC06 (which look ridiculously good!)
    • Pure Blue X005

Any other suggestions I'm open to.

Been wearing some Nudie RRDS for the last 12 months and I'm a bit over the loose fit. Would like something slightly tighter fitting.

(1st post, woo. this place is awesome )

I'd say the seXsc06 for both of you guys. Keep in mind the jean won't be around for long, and sugar cane doesnt really produce ANY slim fit / modernish fitting jeans compared to these, so it's a good opportunity to cash in on that now when theyre still in stock. The details and denim are just amazing, too.

  2. what? lol i mean aside from the self edge collab. i noobishly found out about that after they ran out of my size. the reg iron hearts "regular fit" lookin jeans make me look fatter than i already am.. but i love the denim. i just wish they would make another slim fit :)

They are going to. I think they drop february. Theres going to be a superblack and a classic indigo model.

  3. Im currently rockin some nudie bootcut ola dry's at 8 months with one wash. Its about time i start the next project and this time around i want to go for something a little heavier/higher quality. so far i have it narrowed down to imperial kings, iron heart 461's or 5ep low down boot rigid raw. im somewhat leaning towards the 5eps for the simple fact that i can get em 30% off from revolve and have heard nothing but good things about them. any thoughts on which are highest quality, which will fade fastest, and overall what i should go with?

I think the iron hearts would be the most durable out of the 3, and would probably be my choice if I was in your position. While they aren't known for their fades, the denim is really indestructible. If you wanted something that was very high quality and would fade quickly check out the flat head thread. They definitely make some bootcut models, but you may need to use a proxy to get a pair. Samurai makes a few good ones, too.

  4. Do you have any plans of getting a pair of 010's, midnight?

I'm not sure. I saw them in person and while they are an amazing pair of jeans, they seem a bit similar to my 007's to actually justify an entire new purchase. I'm trying to diversify my collection, as well, but you never know. If i get a pair ill post some pictures to try and capture the true color.

  5. i have narrowed down my next pair of jeans choices

    skull bks

    or

    4001 bks

    what is zimbabwe cotton anyways

Alright i have both so I can be of more help here. The 4001's have a slightly larger overall top block / seat, larger back pockets, and a much softer feel overall. The skulls are super stiff even after a fair amount of wears. The denim overall is a bit greyer looking as opposed to the deep black indigo of the flat heads. The skulls definitely have a smaller seat overall, but the fit seems also more slimming. I think if you want the fades or are worried about ass space, go for the flat heads, but if you want a more modern fit, get the skulls.

  6. Anyone happen to have good fit pics of the PBJ XX-010 purple face jeans?

    http://www.purebluejapan.jp/bottoms/02_5p/09xx010_purple_face_slim_strai/

They look pretty cool but it's kinda hard to judge from the pic how they actually look on someone. Especially as they look a good deal darker in BiG's pictures. It'd be neat to see them worn. Fit pics (or ad pics or whatever) where the color can be seen properly would be appreciated.

Don't really need a new pair of jeans, but these might just be the excuse I need to get more...

did you honestly not see the picture right above? I think the color will only be able to be viewed in person correctly. On a jean like this its hard to capture the true color in a photo, whether somebody is wearing them or not. The cut is very similar to the 005 and 007 cuts, so just look for some of those fit pics too.

  7. Honesty. I like sales assistants who are more concerned with pleasing you then making a commission. The worst is when your unsure if something looks good and or if theres anything better in the store and the sa just stands there staring off into space. The "Thats a good option, but let me just bring out this one other piece that may be a bit slimmer" etc points of suggestion are so much more helpful.

  8. So these jeans have just become a bit too small for me. Feel free to send me offers if you'd like.

Size 27 21cm Black Silver Selvedge: I got these about a year ago from the store on 57th and have worn them a good amount. There isn't any obvious fading / marks of wear except for a bit of a knee fade, but not much at all. They have been soaked twice. These are the 21cm made in japan model in a size 27. Keep in mind that although these are sated as being black, they are actually a very dark shade of grey. I'm asking 180 shipped in the us.

black size 27 19cm cords: I purchased these around last christmas also from the store on 57th. They are a tagged 27 made in italy 19cm cut. They fit definitely slimmer than the raws due to not stretching in the waist. All of the hardware is black, which is a nice little touch compared to silver. They are super soft and go well with a lot of stuff. The clasp broke suddenly when i wasnt wearing them and i still don't really know how, but i brought them back to dior and they were able to fix them easily without any marks. They look just like new. I'm asking SOLD shipped in the us.
