First and foremost, superfuture is a shopping forum.

I'm a size 7 in chucks and I read that Lanvin size 7's fit like a size 8-9?

Chuck's are already marked a half size large. I wear my Chuck size in Common Projects, which AFAIK are sized the same as Lanvin's.

EDIT: I think the $150 premium is worth it over the suede mid CPs, assuming they fit.

New season Neil Barrett sneakers... Odd.

Finally got a chance to take some pictures, the mid-top cut makes for some odd proportions, but they sit nicely under tapered jeans.

Black perforated Neil Barrett high tops, same factory as Lanvin and Common Projects. Size 44, fits like a 10.5 in Chucks.

A few plain Raf Simons mainline SS07 tees, the 92% cotton 8% elastane blend, for $42, mistakenly listed as Raf by Raf. YMMV on other items similarly mis-cataloged.

Dope piece. Shame J&C is completely off Sufu's radar.

Picking up designer 45s on deep discount is how I do.

Bigger than that... you have my sympathy.

Theres waxed/rubberised coats (heavy texture, feels grippy), PU coats (glossy DH style, wears off) and then the Thin Finn type coat, which develops a sheen with time.

This season McQ and Drkshdw/RO have waxed finishes. I'm a fan of the Acne Max Cash too, which is more like the Thin Finn.

hating on kva seems like a popular sufu sentiment.

KVA does an expensive, ornamented menswear with pretty flourishes of detail that is irrellevent to Superfuture, it is seen more at home with other priveliged European luxe. You're just in a different income bracket to theblinding

My take on the whole thing...

Dior Homme marketed a strung out rent boy aesthetic that, in ideology, was diametrically opposed to what KVA is doing (priveliged, rich and beautiful). In reality, Hedi / LVMH was price-gouging rich people with polished packaged street cred. In a lot of ways, KVA's DH is more honest than Hedi's.

But it's not really about the Dior Homme customer, who is only a small percentage of DH admirers. Dior Homme's canonised cool reached all the way into the hights and depths of pop culture. Its that aspirational customer that is now lost without a halo brand that spits vitriol against KVA.

I looked around online, but it's too late in the season. I tried finding 46's in other labels that use the same manufacturer as Common Projects (Pierre Hardy, Lanvin, Neil Barrett, Givenchy etc), but there's nothing.

Keep an eye out when the winter stock hits.

The colour was more tan then beige and they had a 50 and a 52.

Thanks for your help, it's a shame DH on sale at Assin is almost RRP overseas. I picked up the Robert Geller SS08 trench instead.
