Screwing around with my camera and shot my leg on accident, thought it looked cool.
Cougar #001s at 9 months, no wash. I love these jawns. Looking great and they have so much more to go.

Just pulled the trigger on these after 4 months of waiting/deliberating/wanting.
Real deal safari boots. Cape buffalo uppers, impala liner, hd stitching.

My muji lasted 3 days before it was crushed to death in my back pocket. It's a slick little aluminum case but too fragile for anything but a coat pocket.
I'm looking for an unmarked strong card case that can stand up to back pocket demands. Any ideas?

When will the GT 9013s be available. Sickness.

9 miles west of the city with free shuttles running on weekends. Start Googling son, I don't work for admissions.
In other news I'll be graduating in 5 months and need a job. The field I had been preparing to enter has imploded and seems to be taking much of the country down with it. I literally am back to drawing board right now. Any ideas?

I've enjoyed Brandeis a great deal. In addition to being a solid liberal arts school, what makes the school truly unique are the opportunities available for students in leadership, but it in clubs, in research, academically, etc.
There is an enormous Jewish population at Brandeis and their tennis team is terrible. We're about 50% Jewish, and the tennis team is not very good.

Thank you. The top layer is not removable.

Here's the fit of the double Mackinaw in a 40. I wear a 40R suit.

Love the Filson. How oversized is it?
I wear a 40R suit and I bought the 40 Machinaw. There's plenty of room to layer swears under this thing (which I wanted), but it fits absolutely perfect. I'll post photos soon. It's deadly warm too. I love it.

Copped this:
Leather details all over this thing are amazing. Copped it for a silly sale price.

Bought the Mackinaw double:
Great garment. Only wish is that the sleeves were lined. The rough wool makes putting this thing on over sweaters a challenge with massive bunching. I'm going to see if my tailor can line the sleeves with satin or something.

I'd only wear with a suit or slacks. Gorgeous shoes.

I just picked up the J. Crew work shirt this weekend too. I like it a lot. Was $69 after 20% in store discount and the 15% student discount.

What do you guys use to treat leather? Now that snow has fallen and the sidewalks are treated I'm concerned about what affect the salt will have on my boots.

Flannel I found in my pop's closet:
Make is Field & Stream (since 1871). I don't know much about them.

I picked up the tan Abington hikers the other day as well. I'm pretty satisfied with them. I think the quality is fine. They are super light, which is a plus.
Ya, I'm very pleased with them. I guess I wished the leather was thicker and that's what I meant about hesitating to take them on a long demanding hike. They are light as hell which is great for daily stomping. I put a Dr. Scholl's in 'em and they are comfy as hell. Fast becoming my favorite boots.

I am the same size and I too have big thighs, 63 cm. I have the Straight Sven model and it fit great. See fit post above.

While cooking tonight, I managed to drip some oil on my new leather shoes. I did a Google search for help and got some mixed answers, so I was wondering if anyone here has some tips.
For now I rubbed some dry corn starch into the affected area and am letting it sit over night.
I read the chemical hexane can also work wonders but I have no idea where to get nor if it's possible to get it unless one runs a laboratory, which I don't.
Thanks,
J
