Thanks,

Ahh, I am welcome. Thanks!
Weird - On my computer the pictures show up in the thread even though they're hot linked. Maybe they were cached? Thanks for the fix.

Sorry, but how did adding names of the car manufacturers (with the exception of Subaru in which you added the model name) which are already clearly displayed in the ads themselves help to explain anything?
If someone is so inept that they don't know the car brands they surely won't understand the subtlety of Bentley's closer.

^ epic fail
It's pretty simple and powerful. Not much of a car guy I guess...

More of an ad battle, but the entire sequence is awesome.

Several months ago I was browsing some antique shops and I came across this very cool antique chair from the 1920s. The shop owner told me they won it at auction form an estate sale in France. The chair is very good looking and the leather has worn just beautifuly.
However, in some areas, especially on the seat, the leather is starting to crack and flake away. It looks like it's coming off in chips. Is this something that is repairable, or with leather conditioner could be made to stop?
It's a great looking chair because of the leather wear, but if it's going to rip badly after a little use then I can't justify dropping a few thousand on something that would probably need to be recovered with new leather thus negating the entire reason I liked it in the first place.
Thanks,
Jacob

In terms of quality I think RL and Burberry are the best. Lacoste is fried after one wash.

1. Saddleback Leather bag.
Before:
After 4 months of normal use (work & school) with no treatment/oiling.
Sweet denim rub on the back.
2. Tandy raw leather belt.
Been wearing this belt everyday for a few weeks now so I guess this still qualifies as a before photo.

I should have made it more clear. I'm just looking for something simple, not a tee, and relatively inexpensive that I can wear with my jeans to the office.

Thanks for the responses guys. These shirts are all very nice but out of my price range. I was looking for something sub-$100, more along the lines of a polo (sport) shirt. Are there any off-brand nice polo shirts that you could recommend? Button downs are nice too, but for very casual business casual outfit (jeans/shorts & the shirt) I don't want to be dropping more than $100 on the shirt. Maybe for wear with a suit I could justify spending that kind of money on a button down but not in this situation.

I need some shirts for work. My office is very chilled out and unless a client comes in it's tees, shorts, etc.
Currently I've got a decent selection of RL and Lacoste polos but I could use some more. However, I don't want to buy more RL and Lacoste stuff. Can anyone recommend some collared shirt labels that aren't too pricey. Or hell, for that matter any sort of top (tee, light sweater, collared, etc) that's conservative and classy? I'm not into the graphic tees. I know this is a bit vague. I appreciate your suggestions.
Thank you,
Jacob

Little update:
Bought some Nudie Stfaight Svens in 33/32. They fit great. Snug but not tight as hell.
The Denim Bar is having a sick sale too.

I gave the jeans to my little brother last night. They fit him great.
I'll be hitting the Denim Bar tonight.
Thanks for the help guys.

I tried wearing them lower as some suggested and the things bit inot my hips. When I took them off after 5 or so minutes I had pressure marks on my hips...f that. I'm going to sell these.
What's a loser fitting raw denim jean I should try next? I live in the DC area so if someone could suggest a store too that'd be great.
Thank you.

I didn't size them down. I have a 33/34 waist and 30 inseem. These pants are 33 waist and 34 length.
These are retro 501xx, not STFs.
My max bench was 285 about 6 months ago, not sure what it is now.
I do work out and squat frenquently so it's possible my quads are a little bigger than the average person. Maybe that's why the pants are tight as hell.
Sitting indian style is a good idea. I tried it earlier today but had to stop after 5 minutes because I was getting pain it my knees because it was cutting off the blood flow.
I know some people wear crazy tight jeans but that's not my stlye. I like relaxed fit. These things are soooo tight on my junk and thighs, I can't even use my front pockets...I hate it.
-------
If I wear these around my house and stretch in them is there any hope for them to stretch out to a normal relaxed fit or should I try to sell them?
If I sell them what do you think they'd go for?

Moral of the story: Gave Levis to lil bro, bought Nudies, they fit great. Pix on a pg 2
Hello,
This is my first post here so hope I don't get torn apart too much.
I pruchased my first pair of raw denim about 6 months ago with some Levis 501s. I like them a lot but they fit pretty snug. All of the jeans I've owned prior have been looser relaxed fit. I like these jeans a lot and I know they will eventually stretch to fit me appropriately but I hate wearing them in public because they're so tight. Obviously as a result the jeans have hardly worn in or stretched at all. Aside from wearing them constantly is there anything I can do to help wear the jeans in?
Some people have said exercising or stretching while wearing the jeans is good for them. I've heard from others that it causes them to stretch weird.
Any suggestions?
Thanks guys.
Jacob
Here are pictures of the jeans:
What do you guys think? Are they too tight that I have no hope or are they OK or do you think I'm just weird?

Thank you proteus.
One last question, for those of you who carry your keys outside of your pocket - what do you use to do that?
I'm tired of mine jabbing me in the thigh so I'm looking for something to hang them off the belt. The Flathead piece is nice but it's a bit pricey and a regular carabiner is too bland.
