  1. just grabbed the new 38"inseam 660s from BiG. I'm excited to get em next week.

Big props to Gordon for helpin me out!

did you guys hot wash or just hot soak these at first

I hot washed with no detergent, and then hot dried. Maybe even twice to get maximum shrinkage

I just picked up my first pair today at B.I.G.! I'm so excited to start breaking these in. The only thing I'm worried about is that they said that my 660 (the 37 inseam) can shrink up to 5 inches!! Has anyone had this happen to them (sorry for the rookie question...)?

My contest jeans shrank about 3.5 inches, but I think they were slightly shorter than the newer batches

  2. whats that soonami? where to cop seriously?

Like Dead_Wizard said, that is an Atwood MetWrench with face grinds. It was about $70 with shipping in the US. I think only two dozen were released about a week and a half ago.

If you are interested, subscribe to atwood's RSS and have it set to email notify you when he posts something up for sale so that you can cop since they sell out really fast.

  3. Bah, that's dumb. Arc stitching (color & shape), normal hardware, patch screening etc do not really contribute much to cost. What would cost a lot is if they needed to make a new pattern for a new cut, unique denim (e.g. 36oz, lht from neptune cotton), titanium rivets and gold plated buttons.

My vote is for some slightly customized details on a standard cut. Like Jin arcs and the wrangler style pocket with cool buttons and rivets
