  1. ^^ good look chief! speaking of citings, i was feeding my daughter some oatmeal this morning and i happened to look up at the TV (not shooter;)) and there was a commercial for the Today Show (NBC, you know matt lauer and tiki and the gang) and i could''ve sworn i saw an image of D KATZ(of drybonesXselfedge contest fame) on the left side of the screen! it was only for a split second but since i don't smoke anymore skunk my subconcious eye is mad sharp, and i'm thoughly self convinced it was him, beard and all....someone out there saw this too, im not as crazy as mr. almostnice says i am:D......

  2. LVC 1944 S501XX

10 months. Not heavily soaked/washed but I don't recall exactly how many.

Whole left thigh was on the verge of collapse. Nudie dry black was the only decent denim I had on hand. Guess we'll see how that stuff fades.

Post repair, with the truest color representation:

these are rep-tacular i'm gonna have to break steez and get some LVC one day from the only(wack) store in town that sells them...

im putting an APB out on florians evo pics. don't make us come lookin' for you boy!

  3. honestly speaking if these get repairs from SE when they really need it these jawns might last longer than we will. theres really no reason why they cant at least last 5 more years...we've already had a party for the jeans that's lasted about two years already, it's just that we all attended individually...a world party!

theres not one person whose worn these jeans that doesn't look like they are the original sole wearer! this is the chameleon fade

  4. pbjs look damn good sir...kiya, morse, and xcoal killin me softly! that lvc denim is really doin it to death! evo thread has been consistenly top notch for over 2 months now @ least.

i can tell my symptoms are waxing cause now that i've been wearing a denim izaar on and off for over a month (thats made out of walmart denim i bought for under 8 bucks) i've realized how much i love it although it's garbage denim by sufu standards(not selvage, ringspun, rope-dyed or chainstitched, straight bottom of the barrel 8-9oz. RHT cheepo stuff) and it hasn't faded a bit...i think i love all denim and anything made from denim...now i gotta make one (or have one made)outta selvage and lay the denim sideways so the selvage can be the bottom hem...priceless

  5. sadly enough i must announce i'm gonna have to drop out of this tour folks...im broke(unemployed) so i don't have the means to get to any uber-cool places or eat any extravagant meals at nice restaurants and things of this nature. plus my wife is about to drop the seed so i'll just be at home changing diapers in my denimes or warehouse(which i have been wearing a lot lately). sorry folks...

  6. I gave my friend my Imperial Shearer's since I no longer wore them as much. It also had to do with the fact that I couldn't handle seeing him wear his 2% spandex "jeans."

We both just got done doing a beach soak.

    Imperial Shearer's

    God knows how long.

    1 wash.

    1 beach soak.

further proof that if you really do hard labor in raw denim the effects are noticable very quickly. less than 20 days on the job and the fading is intense to say the least. it aint rocket science...my denime and fc had about 30 good hard work days each and they were ''fully faded'' in no time. note the heavy thigh fade on both of these pairs. might seem unnatural, but it's perfectly normal according to the work he's done. he obviously has a lot scraping his thights, and the whiskers haven't had time to 'catch up' . great pairs my dude...indigo busters unite!:D

  7. i've relized lately that i love denim a lot more than i love jeans...if anyone can understand...

since i've been wearing my denim izaar i've realized how much more comfy the 'skirt' style is than jeans

since izaars are traditional indonesian steez im wondering why some of the brothers out there havent come up with the raw denim-izaar thing a while ago. since i didn't have any pockets to put my junk(no, not that junk) into, i transformed the wallet i made out of samurai denim years ago into a waist-pack using some trusty tandy leather scraps + hardware and a belt i ripped lengthwise. worked out perfectly.

  9. im looking for a roll of nice selvage( doesn't have to be super rare hank dyed zimbabwe-cotton woven on a hand-carved wooden loom by a japanese hermit living atop mt. fuji) at least 5-6 feet long. i'll just assume its 29-30 inches wide. i would post this in the supermarket but more cats check here so im more than willing to take negative comments and -rep for this...the denim will be worth it. if you've got it PM me with a price...holla!
