  1. yeah i think this about as corny white girl as u get

    6b454rm.jpg

wtf with the middle one's ass? maybe it's lighting, but it looks less like two seperate cheeks and more like a solid piece of meat with a little dent running up it. must be the flattest ass.

  2. $29 Canadian? Where are you? The AA in Toronto normally sells them for 19, and had a 2/30 sale going on last I was there. You could always just buy wholesale off Chim if you like enough things to get an order up to $125 usd, heh.

  3. I grabbed this a short while ago because it was too good a deal to pass up:

Dior military-style jacket, though I don't know the collections or whatever. Anyways, unfortunately bought it a size big (eu52, it was the only one left), and I'm wondering if I should stick it up on the market or take it to somewhere in Toronto for some pretty thorough tailoring. I really like it, but it's kinda boxy compared to that picture.

  4. I know I remember giving you rep for that jacket a few months ago, and I remember searching the web to find their page... only to see that a 48 wasn't available. And seeing this thread I got all excited... damnit.

If I hadn't just blown money on a fall jacket... I'd probably get this anyways, it'd just be a really tight fit, haha.

Whomever gets it is one lucky bastard.

  5. Try them on wherever, but when you go to buy, I'd recommend TheGrapist. Got my silver selvedges for barely more than what Holt wants for the non-selvedge. Dunno how Noir is though.

So, I'm looking for a part-time job in Toronto, since a job in Hamilton makes no sense considering school/commute hours. I was in TNT and apparently they're still hiring. Nice girl took my resume (and commented on my Marc Jacobs backpack, heh), so uh... Hali, wanna put in a good word? Sufu takeover? Haha

  6. Gained about 10-15 pounds, and it's both fat and muscle, so good thing this is multichoice.

First year, living on res, I ended up 5 pounds lighter than the beginning of the school year, even though I was eating fast food nearly every day. I think it might've been the fact I hardly ate when I didn't have my meal card with me, because I was poor.

  7. Let's see, my first post after a fair amount of lurking, I'll try to narrow it to 10:

    Modern Amusement

    Ben Sherman

    H&M

    Dior Homme

    Levi's

    Kenneth Cole

    Hugo Boss

    Sperry

    GRN Apple Tree

    Puma

Yeah, one of these things is not like the others...

Wow... okay then, new list time.

    Dior Homme (denim, jacket)

    APC (nearly everything)

    Helmut Lang (ditto)

    Filippa K (and again)

    Julian Red (soft washed denim)

    AA (need basics)

    Marc Jacobs (accessories)

    Vans (basics for my feet)

Cole Haan (when I need to dress up)

    Zara (on the cheap)

  8. Man! I've always wanted to start this thread and never have...

Anyone know what cut/body Supreme uses for there tees? It seems like the only cut that works well with my body type. (long torso) Brands like AA/ALTA etc always become midrifs on me and I'm not trying to size up to a poncho to have length.

You must have a really long torso, man.

I wish AA tees were about an inch shorter, but it's bearable because they're cheap (when getting them from chim). I actually have a gray v-neck from Bootlegger from about two years ago that fit well until rather recently, where it's started to stretch to shit. So soft though, and no tags. Oh, and thirding Grnapple, there tees fit nice. Wish there was a Uniqlo in these parts so I could see what the talk's about.

  9. Weird, we were just talking about this at work the other day... kinda hard to narrow it down, but I finally got it:

    01uh1.jpg

Aston Martin Vanquish S - In white, just like this. Manual conversion, please.

    01gr4.jpg

Lotus Exige S - This colour too. Need a toy.

    01ew9.jpg

Maserati Quattroporte - This or black, not sure. For when I need to carry people in style.

    01yq1.jpg

BMW 335i Convertible - Everyday driver... want a Scooby, but hate the image. Want an M3, but this is nearly as fast, can be made faster very easily, and also conveniently nets me a part-time convertible.

    01ww3.jpg

Nissan Skyline GT-R '73 - Super rare, and I've always loved how it looks. Though this fifth choice changes pretty often... FD RX-7, NSX, another Aston...

  10. Getting older and having more (summer) income meant I wanted more quality from my clothing, specifically jeans. Started searching the web, somehow landed at Honest and was annoyed with their small focus. This place was mentioned and I came on over, and it worked a lot better with where I felt I was heading, style-wise. That and I quickly learned HF likes shit.

Turns out though, I had actually visited the reviews/maps/non-board portion of SF a fairly long time ago, reading up on hip places in Toronto. Don't know why I never bothered to check the boards...

  11. Sweet zombie jesus those are some fucked up guys. To the untrained eye that one on the right looks like a tourist... but I'm thinking he's just a nerd.

I also like how there is the distinct possibility you guys made those two girls' day. I'm assuming the whole group was around, so they probably have a story of "a huge group of guys wanted to take our picture" for their friends... and haven't caught on as to why. Brilliant.

  12. Damn, looks like you guys had an awesome time. Please tell me someone made at least one comment about a smashed Enzo. My Sunday was actually looking in the clear, then something came up that meant I was across the border for most of the day.

So depending on when the next one is, hopefully I can finally make it out. Two more weeks of full-time shift work at Stelco and then back to school, which oddly means my weekends won't be my only source of free time anymore.

  13. Damn, I'm on the smaller end of things when it comes to friends, and my size 30 NC's are a lot tighter than those 25 Hipsters. I didn't even know they came that small!

Speaking of which, I'll try and get a pic some point this week for evolution purposes, the first-day fit is floating around on the, uh, fit thread. They've got a good bit of fade beginning in the crotch area (I'm assuming more stress since they're still kinda tight), and I'm happy with the honeycombing for it being about 6 weeks of wear in.
