One-77's nice (the engineering is incredible), the V8 too. DBS does look like an afterthought; the Vanquish will always look better. But garish? Porsche has neon orange and green cars with giant lettering across the sides. I like 'em too, but they're far more outlandish than a few vents and a venturi on a DB9.

I decided to slack all day, laid in bed and read until it was time to get ready for work. Right then got a call saying I don't have to come in because there was a fire in the water cooler room.

Good thing I did take that double yesterday, would've missed my shift tomorrow as well. Now I get a 4 day weekend, sweet.

Time to watch a bunch of movies and/or Deadwood.

The fact I'm still up. Got out of work late, had to eat dinner when I got home, and exercise. Had some family stuff to deal with with a scanner, but it was messing up, so spent a fair amount of time doing that before giving up. Watched a bit of Sunny... now actually feel tired. Have to be at work in 5 hours.

Oh, and doing dishes for yourself. I don't mind when there's a bunch because it feels worth it, but since we're trying to sell this place, have to do them after every meal.

i think people can only change if presented with 3 options: life/death, going to lose something valuable, or it's a subconscious change over time. and even then the first two are still if's, not will's. i've been thinking about it too lately; i don't know if it's pessimism or realism but I really don't think it happens too often.
