sorry I'm a few days late on the bi-weekly discussion of duties but why do so many people think it's their god given right to get the lowest cost, free shipping, not paying tax or duty etc etc? let's try to support stores, designers, governments a bit more, shall we?
btw I'm kind of blown away by the LA3-WS as a shirt jacket. so amazing how it's the same as the DS-LA3 but at the same time totally different. you better believe i'm going to layer the fuck up this spring

americana deck folks (first iteration), black sz 9. worn as pictured - note the leather insole is in two parts and the heel support pieces need to be reglued (which any cobbler can do easily). i was wearing these with sole inserts but have accepted they are just a size too big
includes box, bag and tags, more pictures on request for serious inquiries. looking for 150 USD shipped within the US, overseas pls contact me for a quote but it'll be around 200 USD

US retail prices are very similar to acrnm online shop -vat + customs duties. Huh, wonder why that might be?

There is a certain rectitude about zee Germans that I appreciate. I would not depend on a company there to misrepresent what they know

Some categories are as high as 35% iirc - I vaguely recall this being particularly true with any apparel from synthetic fibers
If this is a major issue for anyone, i would recommend sticking with the secondhand market

Smalls are for someone who wears a 36 chest. They didn't have ak jumpsuits in small online, otherwise I would have one. The suits though, yeah.
I do not think they are producing a greater number of smalls as a pct of sizing - this reflects the growth in overall volume IMO. According to some dude on the stoops, there were 13.5k orders btwn 11am and 2:15pm which is nuts

They started carrying smalls online across some of the range last season. Pelican cases obv for weed

does anybody know what that weird monkstrap looking chukka is? oddly obsessed with it though wish it had a better sole unit

I must be getting old.
this collection is about wanting to feel young and reverses a five year trend of collections that tried to feel old
but thinking young and growing older is no sin, eh?

that fishtail is awful but the season isn't as bad as I thought it'd be. the siouxsie hoodie pretty much nails the making shit in a wood panelled basement in the 80s thing, i guess that's what the opening ceremony generation is into these days.
also, they should just stop making button down shirts

been meaning to post this excellent repair job by SENY forever, my little dude blew out his jeans everywhere and they were able to make em wearable again... many thanks to k and the poor bastard who had to color in the holes!

so its a lousy self timer shot that i had to rush because my wife was making fun of me and wouldn't take the picture for me haha... they just don't understand. she gets all my other "hobbies" just not this one. which is strange because i think she has about 45 pairs of denim and 100 pairs of shoes, yet IM the crazy one?
haha, the sure path to marital bliss is to count how many shoes and jeans your wife has and throw it in her face at an unsuspecting time...

i didn't measure but no more than a half inch in width... i just wanted a slight tightening all around
sorry i'm not a good source of info, more interested in wearing than quantifying so just go by instinct more or less!

there are two kinds of minie : the damaged moleskin one and the damaged flannel one. So far I think SS14 has only the flannel version.
by ss14, do you mean the spot one from the new year (bandana trim)? asking because i got mixed results when i tried to figure out what the fabric was... i went all mister me-too and scooped a blue one so i can stalk johan single white female style
yea man, thanx! Im in Kano 04 cords and yup EricDW is in a TenC, his natty dyed lhamo underneath.

Acronym.

I do that shit all the time, because I don't want to live in a world where your two choices are Amazon and Walmart. I have many friends who own stores, are in bands, write books etc and they don't fit in that world.
Do whatever you need to do, just understand there is a social cost involved
Case in point - for those in the US, mail ordering ACR by proxy from a place halfway around the world so you can duck customs means the few stores here that stock it can't compete and they will hence not choose to stock it in the future. Decreased revenue from retail customers leads to only being able to buy from acrnm.com because ACR doesn't want to have to deal with terms. And that decision triggers crying that that's the only place you can buy it from and it's "unfair" because you now have to pay the full duty that the local stockists had to cover, which made it too "expensive" for you to buy in the first place.
I grant that it's not the cheapest stuff to buy so I yet again recommend you stick to the secondhand market if you're such a skinflint you want to nickle and dime the very people who are trying to make Acronym more accessible on the retail market
