  1. You think 811s are too high rise and not slim enough? Wow, you must be skinny. I think the general consensus on 811s is that they're pretty slim. But to ease your fears, the softer the denim gets, the more it will drape and fit your shape. Hard to say without pics, but the fit should get better with time.

    Yes. Keep wearing them.

  2. it's because of the levi's lawsuit that SE doesn't sell samurais anymore... :(

I thought it was because they were never actually an authorized Samurai dealer, and really weren't supposed to be selling them....

  3. Nah thats the norm, you'll be fine. anyway heres the pics of the KC's wallet I ordered a while back. This is the ranchero model mid length wallet with tan and brown chain. The quality on this thing is amazing so thick, and the leather is buttery smooth.

Shit, that's nice! Welcome to the KC's club.

Where does the button hit on your pocket? Can we see a pic with it your pocket?

  4. hi,

just bought a pair of these recently from japan. if someone could help me out here a little but how many soaks and/or washes before these will stop shrinking? im eager to hem them thats all.

    cheers,

    kev.

A hot wash and a hot machine dry should shrink them enough to be able to safely hem. There might be a hair more shrinkage, but not much. That's my experience, anyway.

  5. When ordering, what is the significance of the zero's in the part where 000-0000 is placed? Referring to the super rag step 2 guide, what does the second line mean? The katakana is Furigana. For my country address, theres two blank bars for it, again in step 2. Is the first one for the country and the second one for my home personl address? Thanks for the help

Don't know what the zeros are for.

The Second line you leave blank, don't know what that is either. They tell me to leave it blank, so I do. And I always get my stuff.

The Country and Address are two separate fields. In Country, put USA (or whatever country you're in) In address, put the rest. 111 Sufu St. City, State 11111

For anyone who doesn't know, THIS is what we're talking about.

  6. Thinking about picking up a pair of 151s. The measurements vary widely on different sites. Could anyone who has this weigh in on shrinking AND stretching? For reference I usually wear 32 in most everything. I'm thinking 32 would be good, but a few sites have the post-wash waist as small as 31, which won't work for me. Help?

    Thanks.

  7. I'm confused. I just went to that site and the price said something like 24,990 yen for a pair of 710's. I converted that and came up with 218.... something is wrong yes?

Nope. That's right. Shipping will add around 30 dollars though.

  8. Do you want to be able to pull them off without undoing them?

Yes, the stretch a lot...the 5000 more so than any of their other jeans. I think I would go with a 31.

The waist on my size 31 S5000VX is now 34".

  9. I have been wanting to pick up a pair of 710xx's and just came across a pair in supermarket that are in my size, but they have been washed twice and dried in a dryer. I know this solves the problem of getting all the shrinking done, but it seems like it is at the cost of having the denim nice and crunchy from the beginning. I know I could just starch, but I really don't like going that route...should I not worry about the dryer?

Not at all. All jeans that are in one-wash state have been dried in a dryer, and still yield amazing fades.

  11. I decided these are too big for me. I don't want to talk about it.... :(

    Who wants 'em?
