I think rakuten tends to have authentic stuff. I haven't seen anything obvsiously fake prowling through there. Looks legit to me.

You should put some asking prices too, or else you're gonna get shut down.

Pretty much nowhere that I'm aware of. I would say your best bet is to browse yahoo japan auctions. There's quite a variety of stuff up on there. It usually says what collection the items are from too, although it helps a lot if you can read japanese.

I think undercoverism is what their tags say on the lines sold in Japan. Outside of Japan their tags have Undercover, co. ltd. I think this is primarily to avoid confusion on the part of the ignorant foreign consumer.

I was wondering if anyone has ordered from Supreme Palace before (it's an online select shop, kind of like concept shop). How would you rate them? They've got some stuff I'm interested in getting, but I don't know if it's worth pursuing.
A little background: I tried ordering some stuff from them in November or December. Filled out their order form, then no response. Emailed them, they asked me to confirm the order and I did, then no response again.
I'm wondering if that was just a momentary bit of flakiness, or if it's best just to avoid them alltogether. Are they reliable? Any satisfied customers?

I was really into these when they came out and picked one up. I like it a lot, but my big problem is that the hood is really heavy. Like heavy to the point that it bothers me if I wear it for a while. I don't know if I'm quite will to part with mine yet, but you may want to try it on before taking the plunge.

I've never heard of this guy, but the stuff looks really good. I second todesengel: any info on prices, stores, etc. would be cool.

Kim Jones stuff seems really hit and miss to me. I'm feeling this collection though. I like how he keeps the same basic color scheme but with very unique tailoring. I recently aquired some of his older mainline pieces and I really like the way they're cut. It's some unique stuff, easily up there with Raf Simons and the like.

Zappa is seriously one of the greatest musicians ever. Everyone should check out Hot Rats and We're Only in it for the Money. Hot Rats is a kind of jazz/rock freakout. We're only in it for the Money is hippie bashing weirdness. The man was a pioneer.

I'm actually feeling this one more than his past collections. His older stuff never quite fit right in my opinion. It looks like he's still got some of the odd draping and whatnot, but a more tailored look overall.
Still, if I were going to spend a large chunk of money I'd still go for the rick owens stuff.

That guy's stuff looks totally fake to me. Very shady.

Dammit, why does it have to be a size 4?? What are the measurements?

This is really nice stuff. My big gripe with balenciaga is the prices. Obviously it's quality, but does that mean I need to pay $400 for a shirt? I don't see the point in it, particularly when there are a million other designers with the slim fit thing going on, charging a fraction of the price.

UW
in superculture
It's random that I happened across this thread. I'm applying for post grad in political science at UW (currently in So Cal). How strict are they on admission up there? If I get in I'll have to ask you guys about places to live.

These are some amazing designs. Anyone know how the quality is on the shirts?

Whoa. I think this dude saw one too many Gwar videos. I haven't liked anything Galliano has done in the past, but this is just so over the top it's brilliant. I bet those jackets are going to be like $4,000 or something completely ridiculous.
The new collection hitting the online shops looks like typical boring Galliano though. I think it works well on the runway, but unless you're draping yourself in it, I don't see any practicality whatsoever in actually owning it.

I think I saw some at Barney's in LA recently too.

Sorry, larger sizes at the moment. Most of this stuff is too big for me, so it's time to pass it on. I've got some smaller stuff that I might put up later, depending on how this stuff goes.

And A splatter camo jacket, size 42
Really cool camoflage jacket made from a splattered paint design. It's a pretty light jacket, more like a windbreaker. The style is kind of like an unlined M-65. There's a hood that can be zipped into the collar and waist drawstring. There's a zipper on the front and snap buttons. Size corresponds to an American large. It retailed for about $350 in Japan.
Price is $125 shipped in the US
Measurements are:
chest = 22"
shoulders = 20"
length = 31.5" from the collar
sleeve = 24.5"

Boycott grey nylon jacket, size 3
This is a snap button, grey jacket, roughly corresponding to an American large. It's got blue lining on the inside and cool blue contrasting material on the front. There is a diamond pattern sewn in throughout the jacket. The material is nylon and polyester. I believe it's waterproof, but I've never actually worn it in the rain (we don't get much of it out here).
Measurements are:
chest = 22.5"
shoulders = 19"
length = 31" from the collar
sleeves = 25"
Price is $80 shipped in the US

I thought I'd try out selling some stuff on here. I've been selling things on ebay for a while, but this is my first batch on superfuture. If it goes well I'll keep adding stuff. I've got a pretty good selection of rare Japanese stuff that I'm looking to unload...
All prices include shipping in the US. Please contact me for international shipping.

Yeah, according to the description it was produced in very limited numbers, sold only at the number nine store, blah blah blah. I think those retailed for about $300 in japan. Why anyone would want to pay $1000 is beyond me.
