I'm not a very good photographer, but here's some quick snaps of my s5000vx. They were taken indooors with artificial light; contrast is unchanged and the color is close to the second pic. I'm going to have my friend who is a semi-pro photographer take some decent shots of them when he gets a chance.
They've been worn on and off for two years. I waited six months for the first wash and then washed them pretty much monthly after that. I would say they have had 20 washes in total. Both knees have been repaired by Denim Doctors: you can see the repair if you look closely.

Denime

I haven't heard anything about this. Why would Denime go out of business?

I went true to size on my '37s. The waist was a little tight at first but it stretched to a perfect fit. If you size up the legs are going to be too big, unless you are going for a looser fit.
There's some pics of a two year pair of '37s floating aroung here somewhere, but I can't find them at the moment. The denim is red-cast and fades to a royal blue like the '55s. It's not grey or grainy like the denim on the '47s.
EDIT: Here's pics Shorty Long posted of his '37s at 6 months. They really show the "true blue" color of this denim (aside from the dirt).
Here are some pictures of my '37s. I've had them for about 6 months. They were worn on-and-off for the first 3 months, and then pretty hard for the last 3. They've gone through one initial warm soak and two cold washes.0 -

thanks***in my eyes the Alden 405 is not only one of the most beautiful boot out there - they also provide a perfect fit - in other words - they're really made for walking - which isn't always a given. You might find boots that look nice but feel crappy once u spend a couple hours in them
My 405s are definitely my most comfortable boots. They have moulded to my foot much better than my 875s or GTs and are great for walking. I definitely see a pair of black Indys in my future

We just released the William Gibson bags and wallets and are getting his Buzz Rickson officer boots next week.
What about the black MA-1? Is it still produced?

That Mulholland Master is absolutely killer: its definitey my favorite MF piece released to date. If I hadn't just bought a Barbour International I would be severely tempted.

I was at a Pendleton store a while ago and the had a few shirts on the sale rack that were made for the Japanese market. They were cut really slim with short arms.

For sale is a pair of Ooe Yofukuten 2201 black semi-custom. It was customized with all black stitching and black anodized buttons. The Number 22 denim is a black denim with a white weft and redline selvage.
They have been hot soaked once and never worn out: I am selling them because they shrink more than I thought they would.
The fit is similar to my LVC '47s. Ooe's shrink from tag size, so these would be best for someone who is a true 31 or 32.
Retail was $310, I'm asking $105 shipped.

I went true to size in my Sugarcane 66 and they are a slimish regular fit. I could have maybe gone up a size for a slightly roomier fit, but I don't think you necessarily need to size up.
I hot washed them and hung dry, so they would probably shrink more if I dried them on hot. I'm pretty sure the O/W on the SE site have been machine dried, so that might account for the discrepancy in measurements.

I'm looking for a Woolrich Woolen Mills Upland jacket in the navy cotton twill fabric, size L. I would also consider the navy WWMxMonocle upland jacket in a L.
