I bought mink oil for the patch on my SC 47s from my local western store.

does anybody know what the sizing is like on the xx-006? Based on the BIG measurements, it would seem like you would have to size down at least one.

I already have RRDS and SC 47-

Should I get PBJ xx-003 or xx-006? I like the color and fading on the xx-006, but I think it might be nice to have a pair of slubby jeans.

kixslf- the LVC's look good- what size do you normally wear?

I am wondering how well nudie RRDS hold their color. Mine are starting to really smell after two months, and febreeze hasn't really done a thing. I am thinking of washing them or at least giving them a soak, but I don't want to lose too much indigo. I know Ryu's canes turned out great with multiple washings, and I think Gordon's Oni Blues posted on the BIG site were also washed at about 2 months. Can a similar result be acheived with my RRDS, or should I just suck it up and live with the smell for a few more months?

this may seem like a dumb question, but what is Samurai's 47 repro cut? I couldn't figure it out from reading this thread or reading the descriptions on BIG's website

You could try rolling the cuff instead of folding it, which would not form a crease, but cuff wear can actually look quite nice. You should check out Paul T's LVCs:

But to answer your questions, jeans will fade anywhere there are abrasions or tension on the denim, so it is impossible to have only the whiskers themselves fade, although they will most likely be the area that fades the most. Starch will help to define the whiskers and give a sharper, more contrasted fade; however, some people will argue that starch creates an "unnatural" fade, so it is up to you whether you want to go that route. Finally, STFs lose a lot of color when washed, so unless you wait a long time to wash them (over a year) or have them drycleaned, you are unlikely to end up with a really contrasted fade.

do you have the measurements for the front and back rise? I've been considering a pair of SDAs, but I'm worried the rise will be too low.

This isn't exactly about Duckdiggers, but I didn't know where else to post it. What is the sizing like on the Warehouse 1000xx? Do they fit true to size, or should I size down? I am a close to a true 34'' waist, and I wear size 32 in most jeans (nudie).

How does the quality of the Cane 47 compare to the LVC 47? I would think the Canes are higher quality, but have seen some nice fades on the LVCs, so I am not sure.

I'm thinking about ordering a pair of 47 one wash. I wear a size 32 in RRDS, so should I order a 33 in the 47s because the RRDS are vanity sized?

is that seam twisting on the STFs or is that just the way they are laid out?

Can anyone tell me how much the SC001s shrink in the waist? I normally wear a 32, and BIG has the waist measurement of the 32 as 36 before shrinkage. It seems unlikely that it would shrink 4 inches in the waist, so should I size down to a 30?

I am considering a looser-cut pair of dry denim to compliment my tight-fitting APC NS. I was thinking RRDS or maybe APC Rescue- Is the RRDS worth the extra money? What do you guys think? Also, which pair has the wider leg opening? Finally, is it still possible to get a 30% discount at Revolve for first-time buyers? This would help to offset the price of the RRDS if I decide to go that route. I couldn't find the discount on their site, and I couldn't find anything using the search function of this forum. Thanks.
