Hmmm, I aready own a newish pair of 55s: is there any truth to the myth that early Valencia St lvc denim is significantly better than later lvc?

Anyways, I suppose you can't have too much of a good thing...

I definitely prefer the 555 denim to the newer Cone fabrics. It is darker and unsinged, which gives it a great vintage character. The denim on the newer LVC jeans just seems sterile when compared to the denim on the 555s and the best Japanese repros.

I'm thinking about picking up an entry-level electric (I'm an acoustic player) to play classic rock, blues and jazz. I;m looking for something with a good clean tone and a nice, sweet overdrive.

I'm trying to decide between a G&L ASAT Tribute, Agile AL-3100, or an Ibanex Artcore of some sort.

Any thoughts or recommendations?

I'm probably going to pick up a Blues Junior, unless there are any better tube amps in that price range.
