mind me asking how you know they're too big if you haven't soaked them yet? Mine were enormous before soak too, but if you see them now, they're fairly slim.

I know this has been covered but real quick! i normally wear 30 in levis/cheap monday/gap. i'm 2 seconds from ordering apc new standards, do i go down to 28 or do i go to 27 to accommodate stretch, OR just 28s and wear a belt all the time
I'm the same waist size as you and the 28's fit me perfectly. I think 27's would be too skinny.

Mikeboi: The actual waist is 15.5", but do remeber that these are RAW denim and they will actually shrink (so I have heard) after a warm soak. I could be wrong; check the Sugarcane thread in superdenim for exact specifications.
They will most certaintly shrink and should be soaked first thing by the new lucky owner. I'd say they should be warm soaked/hung dry at least 3 times to get all shrinkage out of the way, then let the breakin process begin...

Awesome jeans man, wish I had a pair ;-)
It has been discussed thoroughly in superdenim that these run 2 sizes larger then tagged. If you normally wear size 31-32 in other jeans, these would fit perfectly.
