Hey Sydney guys, I was down Oxford street the other day and I went into this awesome Japanese Denim store, I just cant remember the name of it now. I think it was an own label store. Really nice Jeans and the the store was all decked out with that Japanese denim vibe with dark wood, cones of denim thread and stacks of wood displays etc. Jeans ran about $400-$700. There was an older Japanese gent in there and I over heard him telling the hot shop girl his plans for a cool garden out the back of the store. I should have done more thorough re-con as I know SFHeads would be totally into this store, cant even remember the name of the label and didn't have my camera
Edit: Always loved Perks & Mini Too
Hey ande where abouts in oxford st was the store at do you remember?

Don't you guys find it inefficient writing in blocks instead of running writing?
Each letter in Mass's writing is almost like an artwork!

But occasionally it's nice to wear something different.
I've only just started wearing raw denim so i don't have any pairs that look thrashed and worn yet. I still go back to wearing my old pre-distressed jeans or khaki's just for a change once in a while. However that normally lasts for like a day max then i go back to the raws .
But yeah it's nice to wear something different other than just plain dark blue once in a while.

Sorry another sizing question......im interested in getting a jacket from hare but im not sure whether to go M or L. The model for the jacket is 55kgs, where as i am 66kgs. Do you think a M would fit me? Im after a snug fit. I also looked at the measurements for it and i fit the chest enclosure but the shoulder length for M is abit small. Anyone wanna share some opinions? Thanks
ohh and the jacket is this one http://zozo.jp/shop/hare/goods.html?did=471542&cid=1749&pno=2

he has a stax omega II rig i believe.
and headphone questions should be taken here:
unless minya is gracious enough to start a huge headphone thread in superfuture.
woah....didn't know there were so many head-fi members in here. Where were you guys when i was defending the expensive jeans thread in head-fi .
'm concerned about my ears and was more thinking of bone conduction as a way to avoid such repetitive auditory abuse, rather than a step up in quality...It shouldn't affect your hearing too much provided that you don't listen at crazy volumes. Though IEMs would probably affect your hearing a bit since they are so close to your eardrums and all. I think someone here already suggested but a pair of good closed headphones would give you good isolation to outside noises.

and only when I'm listening on my $6000 headphone rig at home (that's the retail cost, but I definitely didn't pay that much).
Care to share the details of that rig ?

Australia gets a lot of nikes before the US and world debut launches, work that market.
Are you sure about that? The Nikes i see here are shitty cortez, basketball shoes that you can find anywhere around the world and your typical air max. Not to mention theres only like 2 styles of dunks and af1 that are as expensive as fuck.
Maybe i'm looking at the wrong places....

Are bone conducting headphones out? Last time i read about it, they were still in the development stage and one of the major disadvantage was the limited frequency range.
As for the Shures, have you tried using IEM's? Alot of people actually find them quite uncomfortable and a hassle to take them out and put them back in. But in terms of sound quality, the Shures are top notch.

I was thinking about getting a solid white V-neck from AA and screenprinting it but I'm not sure what font it uses.
If you are unsure on what font it is you can just trace the letters and enlarge it on photoshop or illustrator.

then moved onto the whole cheaper is better "cetaphil" wagon which actually made me break out more.
I just recently switched to a similar cheaper is better wagon to neutrogena. I'm also experiencing a huge breakout after the switch. But i'm going to use it for a little bit longer to give it some time to settle in. Hope it turns out good, cause it really helps control the oily face i get.
I can't believe no one has mentioned Aesop. Their products are in a league of their own, but around the same price as other products like Nickel, etc. It's an Australian lineWow nickel products are really expensive. I've never tryed expensive skin care products. Is there a night and day difference between cheaper and expensive products?

biotherm homme, l'oreal pure zone?
rofl, talk about a bunch of suckers paying 20 bucks for 5 ml of product
here is what you do, like suggested above, buy cetaphil or any other waterless cleanser
they are extremely mild and this is what you want, you dont want a soap that irritates your skin
you can buy a huge bottle at costco that will last 6 months, its a pump, its very convienient
*now here is the extremely important part
you want your skin moisturized all the fucking time, buy an oil free moisturizer and you want to be moisturizing in the morning and at night after washing your face very lightly
wash your face for no longer than 30 seconds
and for the acne, after moisturizing, use Plenty of 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide, like alot, and you want to very lightly rub it on your entire face
start with just putting it on at night, and dont forget to moisturize before man
i think the key to keeping clear skin is to moisturize, you want to counteract the medications drying affect on your skin because dry skin is prone to being touched, which is prone to transfering bacteria on to your skin which produces acne
and as well, dont touch your face
breakfasteatre what
Someones been reading acne.com . Also avoid products that have fragrance in them. You want a cleanser/moisturiser that is gentle, free of fragrance and oil-free. Neutrogena makes both and from my experience, it is pretty good.
Neutrogena Extra Gentle Cleanser
Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture
Though i wouldn't mind something from the UNO range for pampering .

wow the first thing i noticed in that pic was the chick in the far right with the camera. Only till about 5 secs after, i noticed the chick on the left and quickly scrolled down cause it was such a shock to me.
Now after reading the comments i am confused and thinking whether or not it was better to notice the chick on the left first .

LOL, this has reminded me of the BO episode of Seinfeld.
On a side note, the carpet at home makes my jeans smell. Its strange though, my carpet doesn't stink. Though this only happens to new denim and a wash normally fixes it.
