It's quite a bit looser. Samurais are more like a classic cut also...
'Quite a bit looser' as in something similar to canes 47?

What is the width of the thighs for the s0500 like? Is it similar to APC new standards? Or are they looser?
I normally wear a 32 and im thinking of going 2 sizes down due to my skinny legs. But im worried that i won't be able to button them up. Has anyone experience any stretching in the waist?

Somehow I know that I'm gonna sound like a dick typing this, but...
how come everybody refers to Beatle as a she? In all the pics I've seen Beatle looks like a guy. And besides that... Samurais are guys jeans.
I was thinking the same thing when i was looking at some of Beatle's pics....but didn't have the balls to actually post about it.
I hope Beatle doesn't get too angry. If you do i apologise in advance .

Actually i think there was one guy who posted a pic of him wearing his in either the WAYWT, the denim evolution, or the post picture of fit thread. I'm too lazy to help you look at the moment though . But if i remember correctly, they do look quite baggy and no where near the regular ralf fit.

Come to think of it, i don't think i've ever seen anyone wearing them....only see pictures of them layed out on the floor.
For the fit, my guess would be a 501 47 fit with low rise? So something in between baggy and slim.

Theres a big price jump between the 50mm 1.8 and 1.4 if i remember correctly. If you are willing to pay that extra for the 1.4 then yeah get the 1.4. If it was me though, i would get the 1.8 cause im such a cheap ass haha. Note also that the 1.8 has 2 versions, one being made out of plastic and the other metal. The metal one is the older model and are harder to find. But they often pop up on ebay and are a little bit more dearer in price compared to the plastic body. In terms of glass quality, as far as i know they are the same.
You will find later that you would want to shoot at wider angles where the 50mm won't be capable of even if you use your legs which is why the zoom lens would be a better option. Though there is also the option of purchasing a wide angle prime (but most of them are really expensive) which is why buying a zoom such as a 17-50 would be a better option.
In the end, lens choice really depends on what type of photos you want to shoot.

Yeah i agree with sticking with the kit lens. Its not the best lens, but it does the job pretty good and its cheap.
If you have more money to spend and depending on what type of photos you want to shoot, heres small a list.
Zoom lens
Tamron 28-75 f2.8
Tamron 17-50 f2.8
Sigma 18-50 f2.8
Prime lens
Canon 50mm f1.8 (incredibly cheap and good quality photos)
I would suggest one of the zoom lens listed for general purpose shooting and it is more versatile compared to primes.
They are not cheap though (around $300-$500?), but compared to canon zoom lens they are cheap and provide photos that are on par with Canon L lens in terms of quality. There are also cheaper ones that have similar ranges, but with smaller maximum apertures (I like my lens to have apertures of at least 2.8). But the 3 listed are the ones that stand out among the many that are out there.

carl how do you get that kind of exposure without mad blurring in your night shots? (pardon my misuse of photography technical terms)
Super steady hands hehe?
Im don't know much about photography but i'll try and answer your question. You can try opening your aperture to the biggest size your camera/lense can handle. An aperture of at least f2.8 is ideal. That way you can increase your shutter speed and hopefully theres enough light from the scene for you to capture the pic quick enough without blurring. Or use a tripod .
If it was me i would use a tripod, that way i have the freedom to use the smaller apertures to get the depth of field i want.

The only fit that is acceptable to me are the 101z......but its my least favourite cut from the pairs of jeans i have. I've tryed many styles from lee and have never found a cut that i really like.

This may sound kinda dumb, but what is so special about big name colleges? especially ones located in the US? What benefits do you get when attending such schools?
Benefits i can think of are having a resume that looks impressive, thus giving you a higher chance of getting a job, and better resources for researching. But to me this doesn't really justify reasons for attending such schools.

Theres something really special about this photo, cant really pin point it, maybe the smooth blue gradient sky? I dunno, but it looks fantastic. With a little fixing up and cropping I can really see this pic in a magazine.

Can you explain exactly how you're measuring true size? I've heard it's just measuring your waist two inches below the belly button, but I am not sure.
well most of the jeans i have are w32 which fits me right at the area i want them to sit. My waist is actually 34 inches, but god knows why w32 fits me better .
Sam's got it right, listen to him and not me.

I would size down 2 from your true size. I've got a pair of 31 that has streched to a 34. If i was to buy another pair i would definately get a 30.

If you liked my fit before... I think you'll like it even better now
They're snug in the calves now (that was my only real issue with these jeans.)
I'm pretty sure I'm gonna hem too.
PEACE UP.
.. Man I need a haircut. Weekend, Weekend.
THANKS BEATLE!
Great fits everyone! :D :D
Don't hem them too much, they look great at that length imo !
Its almost as if your sammies have a different cut to everyone elses....ill say it again awesome fit!

Those were my fits PRESOAK so I was scared to death that the thigh would get way too tight. Also, the last 2 pics are really the shape of my huge belly. Yes, I am fat and have no ass.
Out of everyone so far, i like your presoak fit the best! It would be awesome if you retained a similar fit after the soak.

When i compared the online measurements to my new standards they were similar in the thigh width. Maybe he thought i was talking about the s3000?
Ended up ordering a 31 instead of a 30. Hopefully it would give me the fit im after in the thigh area. Now to play the waiting game :/.
