  1. keri are you an architect?

I dont do it for a living if that's what you are asking. It's my hobby, I've always loved playing with design and I've known forever that that is what I wanted to do someday for a living, until I figured out how hard it was to make money in the field, so I decided it'd just stay a hobby. I do organic. I prefer function over form, although my forms are never bad ;).

  2. KRN.NYC

a good thing to do with them is to just wear them as if at all possible until you get a few washes in. I know it sounds irritating, but there are things you can do: you can just fold them under and use a couple small stitches to hold em up until you are ready to wash, then clip the stitches and let em loose, you can cuff them whiel you wear them, or you can just let them bunch.

AFter you get a couple washes in (I'd say about 3) then you can go take them to get hemmed, that will ensure that they stay that legnth instead of shrinking when you wash them.

  3. sycamore, I've soo got you beat on fridges.

We have 4, two fridge freezer combos, a standalone fridge, and a standalone freezer. Plus two small fridges in our water coolers. we have 5 adults and one toddler here tho, and only go grocery shopping once a month, so we need em all.

In the stand alone freezer there is an assortment of ice cream and frozen veggies from our garden, frozen pizza, some meat, and probably a frozen lasagna.

In the stand alone fridge is soft drinks/bottled water and condiments and cold cuts.

in the fridge/freezer out side, there is more ice cream, beer.

In the fridge freezer inside there is leftovers and the stuff to make the next few nights meals. I might take pics if I get off my ass ever today.

the water coller fridges have wine and liqour in them.

  4. I'm watching the blizzard updater for WoW creep very slowly for a tiny 465 MB update, should take no longer than a couple of minutes with my internet connection speed, it is estimated to take another 7 hours after getting only 17% downloaded.

    This is irritating.

  5. hey dumbo, congrats on another fucking f minus in reading comprehension. i can't blame you though...the truth hurts and reading/writing whilst in an infuriated state don't mesh too well (just like your denim and sensible fashionistas).

is there a difference between AE and diesel? probably...but not many would really care or take the time to compare. you're the douche criticizing "mallrats" while shopping at diesel. you fling around accusations of people and myself of being elitists when you're the very guy hating on people who shop at abercrombie and fitch/or wherever it is that you and your fellow "mallrats" shop at.

as you state there may not be a giant difference between apc and diesel, this could be true (although like i mentioned i don't own diesel), but i'm sure this type of argument could easily be implemeted for a "there isn't going to be much a difference between various athletic sneakers ie nike/adidas and payless shoes." or this mentality could be used to legitimize purchasing replica watches or designerknock offs.

then somewhere out of your ridiculous rant is a "of course expensive items tend to be better quality and cut." why do you think most people on this board prefer apc/dior/sams,whatever to that of your beloved diesel?

IF YOU ARE SOME STYLISH AND FASHIONABLE GUY, GREAT. THIS STILL DOESN'T MAKE UP FOR YOUR LACK OF INTELLIGENCE and cry baby demeanor.

come on guy...come correct or you're just going to come of as an idiot (again and again x100).

anyway you called out the haters...you fucking e-masochist.

hey now, dont go giving my favorite pasttime a bad name there!:D

  6. madropes, i wear seven , tr, diesel, etc. i'm wearing sevens right now.

you're an idiot to get so upset ecause some people dont like your taste, i get ragged on, but you dont see me getting all mad and calling everyone haters. grow up and get a damn life.

  7. I am in no way shape or form a snob. There are certian things I wont wear because the style does not flatter me, but if it looks good on me i will wear it. Brands/cost doesn't matter, whether it suits my taste and style does. (Like, i dont wear things with the brands name noticeably preinted on it ever, i prefer solids, and well tailored items)

i dont know, maybe i'm a fit and pattern snob....

  8. knowing the waist size would help a lot!!!! but the above mentioned brands do have those inseams preshrinkage, you might have to give some consideration to having things custom made. I dated a guy who was about your height ages ago, and he had to get almost everything he wore seriously tailored if bought in store or made from scratch, you'll just have to find a good tailor.

  9. get her the linda's, they're half selvedge, tell her to size up one from the size that would work with her waistband (if in between one higher then the higher size) size if she has some booty or she will be in some serious pain breaking them in.

  10. And that's all I've been reading, I have been reading stuff out of my in law's collection mainly lately, and I'm getting a little bored with it.

So any recommendations for either really good fiction or some non boring non fiction would be appreciated. I'm pretty into boigraphies and history type stuff.
