i think what coldrice was getting to is that it is rude to come here not giving nor knowing a bit about this board and then ask people to buy from you.
This board is mostly male, but there are a few of us girls on here too, maybe you should consider consolidating the sale threads and checking out to see a bit of what this board is about and see if you even like it.

also, you might wanna try your hand at overdying raws on your own, give it a touch of DIY.

a yoke refers to an added piece of fabric used for shaping without wasting fabric in darts.
on jeans it falls on top of the butt, above the back pockets.
On shirts it is often on the shoulders.

^Wait until it's gone through a few washes or a hot soak before hemming, the inseam can shrink up to 3-4 inches sometimes, but normally around 1-2. In the meantine cuff.

im new and now really informed, but im wondering....
1. is there an online catalog to cone denim and if so can i get it.
2. how much is raw selvedge by the yard
3. im tryin to start up a denim line and is there a company that makes custom jeans or do i have to hire people for it and all...
jsut some q's thanks guys.
There are factories that will make a custom run of jeans, BUT unless you know how to do everything, the importance of proper pattern grading, sew by hand, install hardware, hell drafting a pattern, etc. your jeans that you get produced will suck, because you wont be able to control the entire productin process. If you really want to start up a line, go to school for it first.

okay, wool in any form except superwash will felt (shrink). synthetic blends will not felt as much, 100% natural wool will felt like mad. Cashmere also felts. I learned the hard way.
It is very difficult to control felting without having a sample to play with and determine the rate of shrinkage first. (like 10% in the first 2 minutes, 15 % after 5 minues--you'll have to bust out your calculus to get the timing perfect). However you can get hot enough to pop your hands in for a sec but not leave em in for a while water and swish the item around in it at one-three minute intervals, letting it dry completely and measuring after each dry to see if it's shrunk enough.

I get a bruise on my hip from rivets on the coin pocket on my hip.

cmf should do a unisex range, that way me, jj and keri can spend our rent money on them and argue over who has the more authentic ones.
If someone buys my damn purse, I'm buying these, I wear a 31 waist on my hip.

upload the pctures using imageshack.us
use the very last code, direct link to image
hit the little button above where you enter text with mountains, paste the code in the window that pops up, and hit okay.

you can use your finger, but I'd just use a clean old rag. dab first until the patch is convered, and then rub. If it's sueded, do not rub, it'll get all funky looking.anybody know how to apply neatfoots oil on leather patch?can i just rub it with my finger?
and what is the best brand for pure neatfoots oil (no petrolium)?
P.S. This thread make me feel comfortable for asking stupid question.

I am talking abotu hand knitting, but it is a given that most knit garments require a longer staple because like others said, the strands are not wound as tightly, and will pull easier. The shorter the staple, the morelikely a sweater will pill.Sweatshirt material is a knit, and denim is woven. Is that what makes the difference?
You're talking about handknitting though, right?
Hmmm, complicated!

denimbirds (available at www.revolveclothing.com) have a flare cut, those might be something she likes.
I wear skull lindas (fabfour.co.jp), or ande whall v2.
The rinse was from True Relgion also fades nicely, and is available in a bunch of different cuts.

^when it comes to knitting, that is true, a shorter staple is bad, you're tugging on your yarn alot and it will break if the staple is not long enough.

okay i can go.
if someone is willing to be my new boyfriend and teach me how to drive, and help me get to school, pay for my hotel, i can cover airfare, and is willing to watch me puke after i get drunk, preferrably holding my hair.
cause erik sas if i haul off to san fran just to see a bunch of boys, he'll wash his hands of me, he doesn't understand denim.
