  1. im kind of bummed i tried the evis 2101's on again and im realy not likeing the fit on me i think a size down would have worked better, looks like im gonna sell , if anyone is interested send me a pm they measure

    waist 31

    leg 31.5

ill post them on the market in a few days

Flash me me me. I have your damn lot 2000z's might as well have these two.

  2. They also somehow managed to get what looks like either a MIC or MIJ 2005 cut in 36x34:

    http://www.yoox.com/item.asp?sec=1&YOOX=EVISU+GENES&dept=men&tskay=3FD17CD7&rr=1&cod10=42153491HK&sts=sr_men80

The patch says "Special" but not "no.1 special" and doesn't have any kanji or chinese characters above "special" so I'm not sure what it is, but the lot 2005 is unusual...

Special edition MIJ with red tab. SCORE

However this might not be the japanese denim....

  3. To be fair, I'm liking the way that some of the old Labor/Stylecraft/etc designs and logos have been popping up on some of the International tees...say what you will about the International jeans, but they've produced some superb tees over the years and that's what I tend to keep my eyes open for these days as they normally go for a pauper's price of fuck-all quid on eBay...

But I agree that the brand's history could end up being devalued when used on some of the International products...

Well i have been known to buy tshirts from them on sale...

Anyway heres the links i promissed.

  4. What new contract?

As far as i know the licence agreement with Yamane (who is also a pretty dodgy one) is in 5 year terms. If this is still true they would of renewed it around early 2009.

At this point is where i guess Yamane allowed them more freedom. Previously he did not allow them to use names such as Labor, or the Japanese cuts and so on.

It stopped them replicating the Japanese jeans and to some extent ruining the brands history.

  5. The newer denim comes with that inside tag. BTW, those are in fact selvedge, and are apparently a new fit (based off the Japanese 2000 cut). Pretty awesome. Here's some actual fit pics.

    http://www.cultizm.com/product_info.php?info=p615_Evisu-2000-Full-Leg-Selvage-XX.html

Yamane i guess i shouldn't be surprised Yamane is a money grabbing idiot. All this time he has managed to keep the international and japanese line separate and now hes signed a new contract they can piss all over it.

  6. Gonna be selling my tag size 33w Lot 2000, No.1's. Proxied from evisu.jp with red tab and blue arcs in May.

Too bad its a size 33 i would of had those otehrwise. Also that looks alot more purple to me then blue.

  7. that was my concern too.

about the big space/gap. Isn't that also the case with the original Evis tabs?!

Or I think I saw it somewhere in that style...mhh

Yes that is the style i just think you might be left with a few holes on where the L is currently.

Paulo I have that magazine plus 4 or 5 others from 03 to the latest issue. I love looking at them its just a pity only sections here and there have an english translation

Can you take some better pictures of those pages please? It would be interesting to see.

  8. About the early EVIS-tabs.

They were intentionally made and not some old Levi's tabs where they eliminated the "L", right?

I've got an LVC tab in my hands right now and I'm thinking about removing the "L" but the whole writing seems to be connected on the backside of the tab.

    Any ideas, suggestions?

They were made and i dont know if you will get away with it both beucase it might mean the rest might become lose and because it might just look strange where the L used to be.

On another note i got some evisu tshirts this week.

    http://international.evisu.com/collections/sale-mens/products/ess10gmts90

And another thats not listed on the site.

ON a worse note it seems evisu online is now selling LOT 2000! jeans (Japanese i assume by the inside tags.) However only NO.3 denim! (Apparently no3 is no.2 without the selvedge or so they say!)

    http://international.evisu.com/collections/fit-mens-2000

ON another side note i want this

    http://page10.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/m74769602

It seems to explain all the patches and all the lables evisu used right from the start.

  9. Looks cool CBT. I still wouldnt trust my self to paint them on though. To be honest beatiful i would be very careful about doing it your self as its really hard. Try it out a few times on paper and see.

  10. thanks devilva, no idea really what the prefix "R" is but i think it's used to indicate those models which have stitched gulls as i've only ever it on them.

Yes it does and it stands for ringspun.

  11. I might list some of my crap as well but fucking hell i was looking forward to the jacket!

Im still not sure on that dude man. Hes putting loads of hard cash down on stuff that have totally random sizes. He either has a shop or he has a factory and hes gonna make a shit load of fakes.

  12. I dunno but they used to stock it. Maybe they have stopped. However the Evisu store in Hong Kong deff did not have any japanese stock what so ever. BTW Hidehiko Yamane did not close down totally from Hong Kong. Turns out they kept the shop near take5 and also opened up another one somewhere else. They have a facebook group so check it out there.

One a side note some dude is snapping up all Evis and Evisu stuff from eBay. Hes Malaysian and has been buying up everything at premium prices. Just lost this jacket to him...

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200470726108#ht_500wt_1182

    fuckfuckfuckfuck

  13. you sure its gonna fit you anyway?

It should fit me perfectly. At worst if it doesn't my girlfriend really likes the look of it as well. Though im sure it will and imma wear the crap out of it all summer.
