  1. quick question... is evisu.com store legit?

I placed an order about 10 business days ago for a pair of jeans and selected 1 day shipping. I received a confirmation email that said they would ship in 1-2 business days. I have not received the jeans and I haven't gotten an email saying they shipped.

I cannot reach them by telephone (no one ever picks up), and have not received a response from them by email. I emailed them about 6 days ago.

Anyone experience problems ordering here? thanks

    Hey,

Yeah i have placed an order before and its been fine. Is this the international or UK store?

  2. Hey,

might be interested in these can i have a picture of the back of the jeans and how hot was the wash/dryer cycle on these? Was it only once? Where you shipping from?

edit: can i make sure that the pictures you posted are all after soak? e.g. patch and so on. It always puts me off when people basically boil wash things. Though these are my size so....

  3. Heads up - yoox has got some evisus with red tabs and patches with numbers like "2005" and "2004" which makes me think either "fake" or "MiJ" and hope the latter. ;)

    Ill put money on Fakes.

Those two specially do not look real. Also look at the buttons used.

Evisu Japan just dont do those pockets from what ive seen. When i have seen Japanese stiched pockets they are done in a different method. Also the crotch stiching is reallly off.

    FAKES!

  4. Yes the japanese brand is 100% separate from the Int brand. I doubt that the Yamane brand will expand overseas though it did stand in Hong Kong where it shares a market with Evisu Int. However i dont know much about the brand and it could i guess possibly be a joint venture. However i think Evisu Japan actually has its headquarters there.

Anyway i dont think that they were happy that the price they had to pay to have Scott on board was to move the whole operation from HK to NY and im pretty sure that there were desiners in London however i dont know if they were relocated.

Also remember Scotts premium product was stuff like this:

  5. Just seen a pair of DS Evis 2504xx Natural Special in size 33 online........shit load of people bidding it......

Lots of bids but only 6 bidders. I noticed this yesterday and passed it on to someone here who is bidding!

  6. Haha, whatever man. Obviously you're not the expert you think you are. To say straight out that they are fake when even from that picture they look perfect, is pretty sad. I knew enough back then to spot fake ones.

So cant show me a pair that are clearly not fake with that patch? Ive only been looking at eBay almost every day for 4 years and not seen a single one with that patch that turned out to be the real. Plenty of fakes though.

  7. You could try Dale who used to work from the back of the hairdressers in Nottingham Court, Covent Garden. He's now moved around the corner to 71 Endell St (under the name of Maurice) tel 0207 836 9401. I've used him a few times for crotch repairs and he did a really good job taking in the waist on one pair. My advice is to be explicit about the repair you want.

Cool i work 5mins from him. Any chance you have pictures of these repairs? Im taking my most loved jeans for some crotch repair and i dont want them to be ruined!
