  1. It's not really the Evisu we know - it's run out of a Hong Kong office, they're cheap, and they're amateurish. Some of the people on the NYC side seem cool, but I've had dealings with the HK people... and they're wide-boys.

Yeah i guessed they might not be the sharpest tool in the box.

The website just managed to get worse then it was! Sales must be going down...

Shame really the japanese website is so much nicer. Maybe they should hire me i wouldnt mind moving to Hong Kong.

  2. Judging by the original price and tag, they were sourced from Savile Row...

Selfridges i was going to say.

Yes im still not sure on what im doing with those. Devilva that second offer you made is mighty tempting however size 30 might just be too tight and lot 2001 is abit baggy specially as im kinda short!

edit: Just checked they are size 30.

  3. I'm always on the lookout for 0005's, my favorite fit, so quite happy with this steal:

    :D

Seller had the same pair in size 30 listed last week, but I lost that one. Got this one cheaper and my size as well.

Not a huge fan of the cut. Still have a dead stock pair of lazy S cant remember if its 30 or 31 but still cant decide what to do with them.

  4. Hey Paulo, you around at the end of April? I promised Kanji that I'd show him the jeans once I'd started wearing them, so a trip down to London is in the offing...

Yeah im arround and im working closer to the store so easy for me to get to.

  5. Soaked my #2000 no1 sz 34 two times already but I still find them a bit too loose, got them hemmed to a 31 too, wondering if I should hot soaked them once again?

Waist is supposed to be tight on my 32 waist but it never was, it's not big but I've got a little room there and the legs are also loose...I don't wanna lose too much indigo..any help?

Would never get something like that hemmed untill i gave at least one or two hot soak/wash.

Anyway it will likely stretch abit more then its already with use so i would try and sell them...

  6. Vintage shops are going to be expensive in Tokyo. It's cheaper in Okayama, if you manage to go down south. Try Osaka too. They have a ton of shops there as well as a million Evisu stores. Let us know what you're looking for.

What kind of price difference are we talking about? Might try go down to osaka but not sure if ill make it.

  7. Cost me a cappuccino for him and Masumi, and a promise to go back down once I'd started breaking the jeans in, as he wanted to see them with some wear on them :) The usual prices are on the International website...
