it has great print quality at 13x19'' and smaller. *shrug*
the g10 is the last hurrah of high-end, small sensor p&s. small cameras with big sensors are on the way.
I don't necessarily think so. I still think CMOS' in small compact cameras are still no easy feat. Sigma DP2 still sucks and really hasn't offered up anything all that great. I say give it still a few more years, however the increased buffer for shooting RAW in compacts is a welcome addition.

Probably one of my favorite pictures, just came out perfect in my eyes straight out of the camera.

They didn't previously, but I believe Rakuten has an international shipping program now. Send them an email in very simple English, and copy & paste the japanese translation below it.
Here is the link

Hurry! Free proxy (although I believe the fee is low @ 5%) until the 31st. But it's already 10:20 pm in Japan right now.

low-cut is negligible as they should be covered up by your pants anyways in most instances.

If you're shooting for fun/hobby and not getting paid off of photography, your personal appreciation for your own photography is good enough in my opinion. Great if others like it, otherwise not a big deal.

On the flip-side of things, has any one had products seized cause they were marked too low and credited as being "fake"?

thanks for the compliments
I actually don't remember how I shot this pic... just sitting at the top of the double-decker in the front row... might have been with an add-on Lomo fisheye?

I'd say it's the best.
haha I ended up joining Picasa just cause I use so many Google products as is and didn't want to sign-up for Yahoo.

on a picture sharing note...
is Flickr heads above the rest for picture sharing. I just grabbed a 50D and definitely hoping to share some stuff in the near future.

honestly, i would always choose a prime lens for portraits over a zoom lens. prime lenses are almost always sharper than zooms and most are faster too - having the ability to shoot at a wider aperture will give you that nice depth of field that you'll probably want when shooting portraits (to blur out a distracting background).
Exactly as he states and not to mention picking up a cheap 50 mm f1.8 from either Canon or Nikon (~$100 USD) is quite cheap and should get the job done.

I'm so sick of seeing models with shit covering their face. It isn't new or hip and draws attention away from your clothing not to it.
I don't necessarily mind as sometimes I think that it's a cost-cutting measure by brands who don't want to hire models but don't have model-esque friends. I'd prefer face-covering over head cropping.

I lost my first E71 within 2 weeks but it was good enough to buy a second time.
The aesthetics and interface are quite good and the slimness factore is a bonus. But if you're keen on 3rd party apps, BBM/G1 (google phone) and iPhone will have you beat for sure.

I've worn my Lhamo's without the skirt and they look good with shorts so I guess the same could be said about skirt-less Shamans.

Lining up is a favorite hobby in Hong Kong brought on partly by such a strong re-seller market.
