Don't care for the leather or the sole (seems wimpy?)

I've been somewhat meh on Raf's stuff, lately. Fused suits, less-than-great wools (the notorious itchy sweaters), etc. The design work is stellar, in terms of cutting and aesthetics, but it is somewhat let down by the fabric quality and the prices ($1600 for a hooded metallic poly jacket?!).
The Jil pieces are indeed made to a much better spec.

I would guess your organs are still getting air, since you are still alive and all. The only way to really tell if you have a deviated septum or not is to see a doctor.
Alternatively, have you considered the possibility that you have dicks stuck in your nose?

First; stronger silhouette, and a better fabric. The second just seems flimsy. The floating zipper is somewhat off-putting, also.

i cant wait for the day some sufu approved label/designer makes bootcut hip again
Would never wear them; straight or tapered 4 lif.

This is good shit here. Also a fan of tapatio (cheap, better than tabasco).
Also, making bread at home is the way to go. Easily done, just takes some time. The results are better than any store-bought bread, even the good stuff.

worst user of the year: jackphotography
worst fit of the year: kiya denim suit
worst brand of the year: b.son
all good nominations, especially #2.

Believe it or not, crackwhores suck dicks. On camera, even.

So, it is that time of the year to nominate the worst of superfuture in 2007. With that simple introduction, here is my nomination for Worst Purchase of the Year, 2007:
Raf Simons Zipper Boots:
These boots seem to have a closet half-life here of less than a month, only to shamefully return to the supermarket to claim another victim. The boots never fit properly, and never work with any sufu fits, and are just somewhat ugly. Will 2008 be the year supertalkers let this beast die?
Make up your own categories, this should be fun...

$490
i'm going to check it out tomorrow to see if the metal blend fabric amazes me or not. the blazer doesnt seem to have much going for it in the photo aside from the clasp in front.
Metal blend? Definitely a no in that case. Shit is annoying (itches/scratches). Tried it with many Costume National items... Don't bother. Go with linen or a boiled wool to have that kind of 'rumpled' look.
The jacket itself is somewhat ugly, regardless.

$200 is either going to get you a shit quality suit or one that fits like shit. You say you already have purple label (for $900, apparently), why start skimping now?

misterpretender, i am sorry, but the thought of you talking trash on someone else's fits makes me laugh.
he probably spent 1/50 of the money you spend on your fits to look equally as shitty as you do.
bwahahah, wish I could rep

When you are that ripped aren't you slightly malnourished? How do you keep up a fight even if it's just a punch to the ear?
Nah, when you get down to ~4% body fat, maybe. I would guess pitt is probably around 8 or so...

It is the ham-fisted copying of the runway looks which is most depressing... Buttoning the bottom two buttons on a three button jacket is just cake.

do any of you know if raf fully canvasses his suits?
I don't think so. I messed with one in Barney's a while back (label stated RAF SIMONS SUIT), and it felt fused. There could be other suit lines, though.

macuser: what's the sizing on those Testoni's like? Is the size on STP UK or US ? Thanks.
They run under US sizing on the site... I'm a 9.5 D in dress shoes, and I wear the same in Testoni. They fit perfectly, maybe a little slimmer through the heel than most other standard dress shoes (say, Allen Edmonds or C&J)

Everyone here would rock free visvim everyday if they got it.
i'll pass on that...

^^ an all too common tragedy.

The answer to that question... is noo. I should not and will not be wearing them on shitty days.
Then don't bother... clop clop

^^ The CD's are pretty much what I'm talking about. Breathability really isn't that much of a concern if you are diligent about shoe rotation and shoe trees. I would do it for a pair of boots that will see a lot of rain and otherwise unpleasant weather. It will extend the life of your outsole tremendously.

yes or no? / this or that?

The soles are really thin, especially in the front. About half (probably less) than a standard 'dress shoe' sole.
