really easy to find. i also lived for a while in Nagoya (actually around the same time as peteyross, in 2002), but i didn't know a thing about denim. but generally speaking, Nagoya kind of sucks for shopping. i looked through Toyo enterprise website and they don't have a store locator, so i'm not sure about Nagoya stock list. Osu Kannon would be a place i would definetely look though.

found these places through samurai website

    sorry for the french...

  3. FF7 is definitely the game that blew me away the most.

grew up playing punch out (mike tyson was so fucking hard to beat), super mario, zelda, street fighter 2, mortal combat, blades of steel,

Gran Turismo is definitely the game i played the most,

fifa and recently winning eleven have taken so much of my time.

  4. So Canada post is fucking bullshit, those assholes DID send my jeans back and didn't even leave a delivery notice! I've had shit sent to my work before and apparently this time they couldn't figure it out. I'm so fucking pissed of right now. I e-mailed Tosiko and I'm awaiting her response but I think I'll be waiting longer then cheap. :( Have fun starting on the first guys, I probably won't get mine till my fucking birthday.

same thing happened to me like 3 weeks ago. my power supply broke on my laptop and the fucking morons at Post Canada never delivered it to my place and then send it back. i spent almost a month having to borrow my mom's or my brother's computer was so annoying. anyway, YOU HAVE TO COMPLAIN, seriously, file an official complain, that's what i did. seriously, for the ridiculous price we have to pay, they better deliver our stuff. there was actually an article about this in La Presse (french newspaper from Montreal) urging people to complain when things don't get delivered.

  5. "She speaks, reads and writes fluent English which can be seen from her blog as well as in several of her movies."

I've seen my fair share of her movies, but I've never heard her speak English. Can anyone confirm this? Oh yea, my vote goes to Maria Ozawa. Dizon's eyes are pretty, but Maria's are great too.

one of her parents is French-Canadian and she went to an English high school so i'm pretty sure she can speak english really well. and i think Jeff Staple mentioned talking to her on his blog although i'm not 100% sure of this, he might only have mentioned her coming to the Reed Space opening...

  6. make you feel all better about yourselves, i will tell you about last night, i went to a pumpkin carving get-together. dont know why but my best friends' girlfriend kept telling me for a couple of weeks now that we need to carve pumpkins, and finally last night i went over to their spot and we carved pumpkins.

haha, to be honest, i can kind of see that being fun with a shitload of drinking...

serious pumpkin carving though, no comment ;)

  7. http://www.amazon.com/Tokyo-City-Atlas-Bilingual-Guide/dp/4770025033/sr=8-2/qid=1161631857/ref=pd_bbs_2/104-2807115-7583949?ie=UTF8&s=books

check out this book, it's a billingual atlas of Tokyo and by far the best option if you can't read japanese. really easy to find to find a place if you have the address in english, and not really expensive. of course, like other saids, it's much easier if you can read japanese cause you can use your cellphone or internet maps. even if you don't read japanese, it's quite easy to recognize the main areas (新宿 渋谷 六本木 青山 etc) so with a quick study, you should be able to use a japanese map

  8. I'm getting mad jealous looking at all the peoples in the WAYWT thread wearing t-shirts and stuff like that. it already snowed last friday and it's gonna snow tomorow again and yesterday, it was so sunny and only 5 fucking degrees. seriously, it's only october and we're already freazing our ass to death. like yesterday, i had dinner with friends and we stayed at the restaurants for like 3 hours and had a couples of bottle of wine and i only smoked twice cause i just didn't feel like going outside. anyway, fuck weather in Canada

  9. there was a thread last summer about wearing dry denim in 30 + degrees temperature. a lot of members seem to be able to do it, but i just can't. travelling through SE Asia, there will be times where it's most likely gonna be very very hot and humid and you might not want to be wearing jeans. however, you'll probably be able to wear them most of the time and anyway, if you want to buy some cheap pants or shorts, i'll be no problem.

  10. both my brother and i thought that mos burger was disgusting, dont know if we got a bad one but it was not something that was enjoyed.

i'm speechless,i've seriously never known anyone who didn't love MOS Burger. Even my mom who probably had fast food like 10 times in her life loved it. i'd agree that the portions are ridiculously small, but otherwise, MOS Burger is the shit.

  11. you guys like her just because she's a japanese AV star

i like her mostly cause she's extremely hot, but also because she's half french-canadian and IMO, she has surpassed Celione Dion and Cirque Du Soleil as our proudest export...

  12. i'll tell you what, besides the ramen, what i miss most are those shrimp burgers from lottoro, wendy's and mcdonalds. i AVOID at all costs fast food when traveling, but a shrimp burger is my kryptonite

i know what you mean, i waited so long to try one of those, even though everyone kept telling me how good they were, cause i thought they looked so discusting. i realized what i had missed shortly before leaving tokyo, definetly a big regret...

  13. ebisu is 2 subway stations away, around 1500 yen by taxi. to go to shibuya, you have to go through ebisu and then it's the next station on the yamanote line, by taxi, i usually payed around 1100-1200 yen depending on the trafic on roppongi-dori. some taxi drivers have a bad habit of 'getting lost' and unless you know tokyo pretty well, there's no way you'll realise and i'll end up costing 2-3 times what it should have costed .

as for clubs, on top of the one mentioned, i'd recommend Air and Unit (awesome Drum & Bass events) in Daikonyama and if you feel like making the trek, Ageha in Odaiba. it's a little far, about 30 min by subway, but the club is amazing (biggest in Tokyo) and the sunrise view of tokyo bay on the terrace is pretty awesome. as an added bonus, it's the only place i know that is non -smoking (the main room only, but still, it's very appreciated compare to all the other smoke-filled clubs).

check out this thread for other website with clubs info

    http://www.superfuture.com/supertalk/showthread.php?t=15914

it's a good idea to check the listing as many clubs have special events all the time

there are some decent places in Roppongi, but as for a party area, i like Shibuya much more. we'd often end up just buying beer at the convinience store and drinking on the streets and had loads of fun. as lively as Roppongi, but without the drunk american sailors, fake asian gansters and the nigerian touts. anyway, you'll have an idea if Roppongi is for you in the first 5 min you'll be there at nights...

  14. so if i bought a giant flat screen tv tomorrow... used it for the rest of the school year... i can just bring it back? i guess i need he box n stuff too. what if its obviously been used?

in Canada, the 100% satisfied or get your money back policy only last a month so it might be harder to crook them than in the states. but they'll usually take anything back. back when dvd burner were expensive, i use to 'borrow' them all the time. burn some dvds and then bring it back

my friend had the best plan though. he would buy broken stuff on ebay, then go buy the exact same article at future shop (like best buy) and then return the things he bought on ebay saying it was broken. he got so much really nice things (tv, camera, video camera, ipod etc) for like a couple bucks like this.
