Many of the hippies (and/or ex-hippies) I know tout their liberalism of the 60s an 70s as an excuse to be dicks now. Not to mention the whole new age religious crap. The ex-hippies that have withstood the test of time and moved away from the whole free love shit are some of the coolest folks I know, labor organizers, lawyers, etc.

BTW I like the Mercedes benz and range rover boxes.
Also, thanks for reminding me of Malvina.

that's not the point. they're saying that if you use the bathroom at that restaurant (for pay or as a customer of the restaurant), then don't fuck it up, do drugs, or fuck about in there. seems pretty reasonable to me.
The sign isn't intended to prevent anyone from shooting up, sleeping in or fucking it up. People that do such things don't think it is okay to do it. They know it ain't right, they just do it anyways because there is no convenient spot to pass out at or shoot up at. The sign is mean spirited and intended to get a rise out of people that think similarly about the indigent and dispossessed. A simple sign saying, "Please respect our public facilities." would do more to prevent acts of abuse. The sign is begging for someone like me to walk in, see that sign, get pissed about it, pay a buck to use the toilet and shit all over the fucking place.

Pre soak they started life a cunt hair short of 32".
I have always thought that the States should not standardize on the metric system, but rather on the cunt hair system. It really has stood the test of time.

Geocaching??? I had never heard of it. A little google search and it sounds like something fun to do on a day where no one can think of something to do. I still can't wait for my pants to get here. I exchanged mine for a size 30 so I don't expect them to get here until maybe mid next week. That's okay. You all will need the head start anyways... Hah.

I thought there was a floating idea to post final pics in a new thread, so the judges don't have to weed through all of the excess blabbering.

A few years ago??
I do like the OG roys as well, although, the black and blues and these new ones with the loomstate Cone stuff are probably pretty nice. I just liked the back and forth required to get a pair of Roys through roy. I definitely felt like they were made to measure, he popped in a cool little keyhole for my pocket watch chain. It was just pleasant dealing with him. Price had nothing to do with it. I still love all the stuff he does though. I would spend $300 easily for a pair made by him.

I am in the process of returning my size 32s for 30s, so I don't have any fit pics yet. I assume my fit pics will look better than all of yours' though, so stay tuned...

The custom blacksmiths run $600. I got a gift certificate for xmas for a portion of it, so it didn't hit my pocket book too bad.

Headed down to Rising Sun yesterday and met up with Mike Hodis to get situated on some custom Blacksmiths for me. They have some beautiful unsanforized loomstate 15oz chunky denim. A bit over the top compared to some of the more tame denim that Rising Sun uses. It jumped out at me though.
I also picked out some different hardware. They have some really cool 4 eyelet sew on buttons that are covered in black enamel. I got those for the suspender buttons.
I wish I would have taken my camera, because their new place is really cool. It is set up like an old dry goods market and there is plenty of space for the tailors to work as well.

Wore mine for a couple hours today. I wondered why they felt loose around the waist. Wondered if I lost weight, but then I noticed that the tag size on the pants was 32 rather than 30. I will see if Christian will Exchange them. They feel good throughout, but the waist is a bit loose.
Love these pants otherwise. Can't wait to see them age.

Hope you like it. They kinda help with musty swamp ass sweaty jeans.

It's the pleating on the back causing the bubbling and those pleats, when they relax, won't bubble so much.

That bubbling will go down once the denim softens up.

Which hat? I would just send John your measurements and he will figure out the size for you. That is what I did and it worked out well. I think you could get a little smaller hat than your head because it will stretch.
