i ordered some grenson albert a couple of weeks ago and had pretty much decided to send them back cos i wanted the money to spend on some new jeans. however, when they arrived i was pleasantly surprised at how nice they were and now i dont know whether to keep or return!

Nice shoes. If you don't already have some wingtips, I would keep them, they look good.

I find myself getting waaay more shoes than denim. I've pretty much sold off every pair of jeans I have except 4, and yet I have over 30 pairs of dress shoes. One of the main reasons is that its better for your shoes to rotate, while its better for your jeans to just keep wearing the same ones over and over.

any shoes go with jeans, it's pretty much true. The only look I don't like personally is loafers, but tons of people wear loafers too. classic shoes + jeans = U win in lyfe

the regular Indys are really an inferior level compared to most Aldens. They are orthopedic construction with cheap cloth lining and rubber outsole. Look on ebay for vintage Tru-balance aldens and you will see what I am referring to. The higher price for the premium Aldens makes sense.

Anyway, I have given up on the Forum Specials. the more I look at them, the more I like the plain composite soled RMs with the wide lip. The specials look too precious and delicate. I'm gonna get the plain ones, but I can't decide which toe I want...:confused:
