  1. Good stuff guys. This year flew by! I am so grateful to everyone who participated in the contest and made quake donations, I couldn't have got the jeans making back together without the amazing support!

How many guys do you think we have? I keep thinking someone is going to pop up outta the blue that hasn't posted at all.

  2. They look good Mr. Skurlandski. All the cuts are on the slim side. Caribou's would probably have been a slim cut in the 50's :). Guys from Thailand, Indonesia and Singapore love the Cobras....can't fit them myself, the slimmest I can go is one up on Mustangs but normally wear Caribou's every day.

Heavy denim, never been a huge fan really.

  3. Hi guys. All looking really good. I think everyone should post up final pictures around the 1st December, it will be to costly to send them back to me. Maybe get some sufu denim vets to judge? Maybe it's not the best if I judge them huh.

  4. Hey guys, great updates! When is the official end date? Is it the 1st of December? Man this year has gone faaaaast. I will try and snap some pictures soon and post up like you guys.

I adopted this cat from the pound about a month ago, really cool big ginger dude. He was living rough all winter and is super timid, so he was hanging inside and sleeping under the couch and bed. Last night the little guy squeezed the window open and jumped out of the second story! It's so high....damn stunt cat! Can't find him anywhere, poor wee dude. Going to go for a walk soon for a look around.

  5. One thing I noticed when I was checking these out (for ages, haha) was that, since they were washed so often the train tracks didn't happen from the knee down. I wouldn't expect my friend to give a shit about this, but when ever I wash jeans I flip inside out and press the selvage seams open again, just in case they fold back on each other.

  6. hey guys. I have to chime in with my thoughts on the 13.5oz denim. It's no accident this denim has been chosen as the main staple, I feel it represents a great example of a 50's vintage denim, not to over the top in weight or slub. I think the devil is in the dye job, which is amazing when fully worn out, bright whites contrasted with mid indigo's. I love all types of denim, some of the other Japanese offerings are like vintage on steroids.

Here are some 13.5ozers worn by a friend for two years. He tried not to wash them for three months or so, then couldn't do it anymore, so would wash every week.

  7. Hi Guys. I have just finished the second run for Wakefield Hotel. The first one was the 14.1oz Natural Indigo and the second is the new Vintage blue 15.3oz. I will probably use the vintage blue as my next Special Roll.

  8. Nice one Chris. Ahhh Bondi...never been for a swim with so many people in my life. Good updates fellas. I had an old friend drop off his old Grifters, 13.5oz Zimb the other day....two years old and looking well trashed. I will post some pic's when it's a better day for photos.

Check out this cool skate vid from post quake.

  9. Hey guys. The natural indigo I had lined up for the first special roll was all gone, damn it, had my eye on it for ages. I have got another roll for the first SR though, details coming soon...it's really nice. I will do a natural soon though, either the same denim as the Wakefield Hotel model or some thing from the latest new offerings that should be out in a couple of months.

  10. Hey Maynard, cool man, sounds like a great location to live. My best chick friend is a westham supporter. Most of my friends either live in Australia or England, so most are football fans. When I was over a couple of years ago I stayed at my buddies house in Swiss Cottage, just up the road from Lords...it was a hectic trip, all over the place, so didn't really check if there was a game on.

Man the olympics will be nuts right, London is fairly busy as it is! Is it going to take you longer to get around?

Edit: Yeah the Cake tin is awesome. Went for the first time a while back, lads trip to see ACDC.

  11. Maynard, you guys have been doing really well in the old Cricket over the last few years. Have you been to Lords for a match? Always wanted to see a game at Lords. Would also love to see a game of Ice Hockey or Football, looks pretty cool. Last Cricket match I saw was a bit of a dud, it was NZ vs a World team, the only consolation was getting to chant, warnie's a wanker with the whole crowd...I love warnie though...he's ace.

  12. Maybe a slight misunderstanding, no trouble sourcing the denim...just paying off a few bills and will get some in.

For those asking about the special roll of denim - i just heard from Ande that it'll be at least another month, he's had some trouble sourcing the fabric.

  13. Hi Rob, glad you got 'em...damn customs slows down the quick shipping.

I have quite a few e-mails since I started the new fits asking for larger waist sizes in the Cobra cut, so have added three more sizes 33" 34" and 35" to the line up, so 9 waist sizes in all, the same as Mustangs now. Bests Ande.
