  1. I think for the average consumer Richard Kidd is super high on the intimidation factor. It is not a very welcoming environment and that perhaps why he said uptight. Prices are rediculously high as well.

I never really understood how that place made money, the rent for that building must be insane. Anyways props to them for pushing the boundaries. Former Twenty Four and Richard Kidd are pretty ground breaking for Canada.

  2. Supreme is a lifestyle brand. It speaks to people on so many different levels from skate, street, and to those that have that 'don't give a fuck' attitude. Some hypebeast kids buy into it and they are the ones that taint the brand. For those that are into streetwear they are one of the forefathers. They have continually kept exclusivity high and have never strayed away from their image. If you don't know then you don't. Some people get it and some don't.

  3. Revolve has a ton of shitty brands, but in between some of these shitty brands they carry decent stuff such as Corpus, Uppercut, Umbro by Kim Jones, Travota and after that you can pick up some sweet true religion, harajuku lovers and chip and pepper yep!

  4. i just skimmed this thread for pics. loving the line, but why is it so fucking expensive? $77 tees?

i can pay myself an hourly rate to recreate and edit the artwork, burn a screen, pull it, then cure the ink for less.

If you see the tees up close, its more than just a plain tee. all of the new tees have stitch details around the sleeves and bottom hem. Also around the back and back neckline they have contrast stitching. Nice shirts.

And as for the cardigan, I saw the line and I think retail for the Triangle Cardigan would be close to 200 -240 atleast. It may have been rediculously discounted at Goods.

  5. in case anyone wanted to see the new back pocket sizing & leather patch (pictures from brentos) :

  6. 1.lee

    2.nudie

    3.wtaps

    4.undercover

    5.converse

    6.gucci

    7.paul frank

    8.vans

    9.comme des garcon

    10.lacoste

some of the lists are rediculous. what kind of person wears paul frank one day and undercover/com des garcons the next. same with wtaps and lacoste, this person obviously has never owned any wtaps, undercover, comdesgarcons before.

  7. its a blog that caters to street wear.....what do you expect?

I'm pretty sure that is the guy who actually owns/runs slamxhype , he also owns are store in netherlands or some place like that if im correct.

  8. ^agreed. regardless of execution. the outfit was blah. You are right, i always refer to the pin roll as a pin roll when in fact most of the time, its juat a super tight, super small cuff rolled a bunch of times which makes the cuff smaller.

I agree with the others. The rolling of the jeans is no good. I personally prefer your fits in your in between periods of Hypebeast and Superfuture. It looks like you're trying too hard with the new look and it doesn't suit you. It's like your trying to be too fashion forward or some shit. just my opinion.

  9. has anyone been by supreme LA recently? wondering what is still available, any help would really be appreciated

I went last week while I was on vacation. If you like their cut and sew almost all of it was still available. Wtaps stuff, fila, etc etc. They had the micro fiber new eras, and the tiger camo 5 panels. For the hypebeast kids I doubt there is stuff they'll like but true supreme heads should be able to find some good pieces.

  10. if you are in van go to gastown. Pick up a pair of apc's at dutil, head to livestock or goodfoot buy yourself a good pair of van's or nikes, maybe pic up some tees , go to IE pick up some Pam and bang your set. 600 buck can go a long way. You can get away with the jeans, shoes, probably 3 tees and maybe a hoodie and still be left with some change. Booyah

Oh ya and maybe hit up AA to get some plain shit, like a cardigan and some blank tees.
