  1. For those idiots that say that Mil is too old to dress like that you guys don't know shit. Look at HF, Shinsuke takizawa, Tet and hell even James Lavelle have worn similar things well past what you deem is the acceptable age. Some people don't give a fuck what society thinks is acceptable they do what they do, while others do what is expected and follow the crowd.

  2. i understand streetwear, at least on some basic level, and i also understand the way clothes are meant to be worn; they should look good. those pants just look kind of silly, i know they're raw and will eventually sag better but man, those look goofy.

even still my favourite seenmy fits were when he was first wearing the 5010xx, those looked great, this whole baggy pants thing just doesn't do it for me any more

No offence but I don't think you do understand. I actually think that your aesthetic is the epitome of a hipster. But everybody has there preferences so it is understandable to disagree. I guess it is somewhat about brand synergy and what not, but more about actually 'knowing' exactly what you are wearing, and almost being obsessive or authentic rather than just throwing on anything that looks good in the morning.

  3. Seenmy has been killing it lately imo. The Samurai baggy fit on him looks ill. For those who say his outfit is bad fitting, you'll just never understand. I think the fact has been established that it is damn near impossible to educate superfuture on how streetwear is meant to be worn. Except for the few it is useless trying to argue, superfuture is filled with hipster kids that hop from trend to trend.

  4. Hey guys,

What do you guys think is better overall for tables. I currently have some Numark TT200 which are pretty good for all I can tell, I'm a newb. But anyways I know somebody that has some Technic 1200 for sale and was wondering which were better. Should I stick with what I got or switch it up. Keep in mind I play hiphop, oldschool breaks etc so I'd eventually want to get really into scratching. Thoughts?????

  5. YEAH CAUSE WHEN YOU BUY NEW CLOTHES BECAUSE THEY SEEM ATTRACTIVE TO YOUR SENSE OF STYLE, THATS GAY BWAHAHAHA WHAT A FUCKING QUEEN

shut the fuck up. you've been here since 2005, you should be well aware that people decide to change styles, im sure you've done it. your statement is useless and doesn't contribute to anything but people thinking your a douchebag.

you can always neg rep me if i've hurt your feelings, or offended your sense of style. :)

Thanks for the neg rep. I could care less. Yes I have changed my style over the years but I have always been true to myself and have always worn stuff in the same genre. I've never hopped on any bandwagon. I don't hop from trend to trend like a lot of people here.

Hey its cool to like supreme, visvim oh yah bson is cool too same with dior and lanvin, its all so cool lets mash it all together and look ultra cool. I have always had respect for the people that can dress themselves without having to get approval from a message board.

  6. fuck, california weather rules

    converse

wasn't this kid trying to wear supreme and stussy a few months back. superfuture is full of trend whores. How can you hop off Supreme and go to BSON....bhahahaha GAY

  7. i think soundbomber still on top of his game. with that being said, i think his fits jus arent as fresh as it used to be

I think he looks a hundred times better than before. His old shit was looking superfuture cookie cutter. skinny/slim fit jeans and streetwear do not mix, when will superfuture learn. Its fuckin gay and makes no sense. I think he finally realized that as well. good shit soundbomber.

I saw someone wearing a Supreme x Futura tee, skinny jeans and common projects the other day. I guess superfuture really does create a bunch sheep followers not much different them hypebeast except higher price points. Needless to say I thought he looked retarded.

  8. yea exactly and thats i think what mils is getting at and its what gets me when I see somone wearing a brand totally out of context, because basically when we buy in to these brands who essentially are based on these cultures we are buying thier authenticity and using it to create authenticity within our own look as we want to be part of that culture but from location/time etc we cant be for example I love 90s new york and english football hooligans but i grew up neither on the terraces in the 80s and 90s nor in nyc but by asethetic chioces and reference aswell as through brands i can authenticate chioces in my outfit.

so when its worn out of context by some kid who dosent skate or even know about the brand in question but just knows its 'cool' then itlooks stupid as they have no real authenticity(this would all change if it was being reappropriated by a scene or group and forming a new identity)but on here it isnt as theres no one defined culture behind it just a lot of watered down mixed up references.

This is EXACTLY what I was think but couldn't put into words. Right on Seenmy

  9. I somewhat agree with the brand synergy thing.

What I think is fucking lame, are those who are 'down' with streetwear just a couple years ago and then flip the script like a trend whore onto some fashion shit. I can completely understand those who upgrade and mature into more exclusive and harder to find lines such as acronym, Visvim, Soph, Pam, undercover etc but for those who ditched the whole street aesthetic and jump on some fashion bandwagon shit sicken me. For that reason they were never into street culture or the style in the first place. It was just the hot new trend at the moment. I think that is somewhat what Milspex is trying to get at as well, people are mixing up shit so much that it is becoming acceptable. It is completely normal to see dior, supreme, vans. I guess to the untrained eye it looks good, but to a purist it is done all wrong.

Imagine someone like Milspex completely flipping the script and dressing in dior, tsubi, common projects all of a sudden. Or could you imagine one of the supreme cats decked out in Supreme, 19cm, vans. That shit would be retarded. I don't know if that makes any sense but whatevs.

  10. I'm still really down with Nike, I just don't really like any of the new stuff coming out. If you go to London and Europe people still really up on airmaxes which I think is dope. The American market is too focused on trends and that is the reason why you see everyone moving over to Vans.
