The only thing dumber than people using racial slurs is people feeling ass-hurt because they can't use racial slurs when they feel threatened/intimidated/scared/superior etc.

I bought some APC's back in the summer of 2004 and wanted to know more about the brand, Google brought me here courtesy of RingRing and few other people's knowledge. I think I'm one of the few around here who can say they discovered APC first and then discovered SF.

I have to say the the most recent tees have some of the shittiest silkscreening I have ever seen. I was looking forward to picking up a couple but after seeing them in the store I had to pass. The Harold Hunter and PE Mug Shot shirts are especially craptacular.

Like I said, I was looking at XL stuff but there were very few sweats, mostly old ones that have been around a few sales if you catch my drift. I didn't look to see which RTFT's they had, but most of the kicks they had out were the less popular colorways and models. The only non shoe/shirt stuff I saw was a set of some vinyl toys, but I couldn't tell you what they were. No hats/prints/pillows etc.

Just came from there it wasn't too impressive. Clothing slection was really blah, I was looking at big sizes but there was almost no sweatshirts and the Tees were mostly the same stuff they've been trying to get rid of for the last few sales. Lots of shoes but nothing very good IMO, seamless AF1's, lots of runners, some RTFT stuff if you like those.

The sale back in the spring was way better, but it's still worth a look if your down there, maybe they'll put some better stuff out for the weekend.

Most of the apparel goes on sale. I dont remember if the denim did last time, but all the sweats and tees were available. Shoes is pretty hit or miss, they have it arranged in sections by size, so less popular sizes have better selections in general. Definitely worth going more than once, the stock changes.

Dave's Quality Meats usually has a good selection of women's stuff, with some older releases mixed in.

I guess I'm in the vast minority here, but I hate bummy kicks. To me the only sneakers that look good beaten are Chucks, otherwise I just prefer the FOTB look. If you grew up in NYC in the mid-80's it's in your DNA...

My wife got this one for me from Links Of London, it's really nice and has space for an engraving. I wouldn't carry in my back pocket though, the hinge isnt heavy duty enough for that.

My size L 1st edition shirt is still sitting in my closet unworn due to being way to freaking small for me. As much as I love the shirt if anyone out there wants to make some (realistic) offers, I'm listening. PM me.

You've heard of us? Cool, I'm always amazed that people knew who we were, even though we busted our asses for years.

Never been to B9, but I played in a NYC HC/thrash band called Asstroland for 10 years, put out a bunch of records, toured the US a couple times. Played shows with Spazz, DropDead, Los Crudos, Charles Bronson and loads of bands in that style. I miss playing a lot, but don't miss the HC scene very much.

This thread is bringing back memories of my closet back in 92-95! A few more companies I remember from back then, Not From Concentrate, GFS (Gerb, Futura, and Stash; was this the same line as NFC?), and Urban Folk Art.

The button changed in late 04- early 05, I believe. I have a pair of standards that I bought in August of 04 and they have the rounded button.

The Ricta 78's come in a 56mm set, I love them. You just have to get past the blue color. I don't mind it at all.

If you are going to be selling a product with the image on it you need to say so when you contact the owner of the image. Your price for the usage will probably be different that the basic usage fee. If you don't get the correct permission the owner could sue you for money, damages, take your unsold stock, etc. Photographers don't mess around with people using their images without permission, so I would be very careful about doing so.

The regular Bronner's comes in unscented liquid too.

Vans just did some a year or two ago, looked much better too.
